My daughter really enjoyed reading the book. She had a tooth problem once and she was really afraid and scared to visit the doctor. And it will be really helpful when we will visit dentist again.I can always remind her not to be afraid like Raymond. So I suggest this book is a great addition to help overcome anxiety with doctor visits.

Because he is nervous he calls on a friend who supports him through the experience.
In the end he finds the dentist isn't so scary after all (although he definitely prefers to brush really well than have to go back :-)!
I feel like the author gives a realistic experience of what the dentist is like for most people, so that kids aren't left with false expectations.
Also cute that she puts a lot of focus on the friendship and the way you can support and acknowledge the friends in your life.
A highly recommended read!
