- Reviewed in the United States on June 3, 2020This is by far the best Laptop I have ever had!!! Extremely fast and responsonsive!!!!! It's perfect for my music production and gaming!!!! Absolutely love that I can customize your device lighting in Razer Synapse. You can even make a custom light show with your keyboard to go along with your music 🤘🤘🤘 definitely plan on having this laptop for a very long time and will be buying more from Razer Gaming!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2020I have been eyeing this Razer Blade 15 Base model for awhile. Despite reading a lot of bad reviews I decided to buy one and I am not disappointed. The build quality is excellent.
This product replaced my both my mini PC with GTX 1060 and my surface pro. I am tired of having 2 separate pc, buying this was the perfect solution.
Cons:
theres this little light bleed on upper right corner of the screen.
The positioning of the right shift key and the arrow keys are really annoying. It feels like they are really out of place.

It is a great, but the biggest issue is the VR ready sticker
It reaches 80C temperature when I use my quest 2 plug in with it. I feel it is working but it is very subjective
- Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2020This little device is powerful. I have been running every game I have tried, Borderlands 2, State of Decay 2 etc.. with no issues. Highly recommend. I bought a little fan cooler lap thing it sits on while it's on my lap. Keeps the two fans the Razer has from turning on here and there.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2020I got this as a second computer and i take it everywhere. its a fantastic machine to watch shows and play games where ever I am, the only thing i wish it had is a little better battery life but its not bad.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 17, 2020Laptop worked for one day, and at first it seemed like it was going to be a decent laptop. But then would not power on the next day. Razer support is awful, they did not offer me anything to make the situation right. Reached out to their support group 3 times, but finally gave up when all they could offer was a refund. As a first time buyer of a Razer product, I was very disappointed, was not impressed with how they handled the situation.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2020I purchased this laptop, and its been nothing but trouble. After 2 months of use, it experienced with no spills or drops or fault of mine, a complete malfunction of the motherboard and keyboard, a "manufacturer defect". The 4 year protection plan I purchased with this laptop through Amazon was unhelpful, and refereed me to Razer Support, which fixed the issue, taking a long and annoying time to return it, and the laptop is still experiencing issues and is in need of a second repair now. Razer Support barely picks up the phone or responds to emails.
During this whole time, I felt let down at the level of Amazon support. Even though the return window was closed, it was only a week after it closed that this happen. I can't believe I can't return something so expensive as a Prime Member. So now as a grad student and working professional, I need a new laptop, because I have a paperweight that has made me regret this purchase.
On a positive note, its a nice computer. Gets hot sometimes, but looks well made from the outside. I'd invest your money in a Macbook though, for an extra thousand, like I should have done honestly. It wouldn't be crashing constantly from hardware issues and unable to be used for long periods of time.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 17, 2020Great device. I use it for web development and don’t have many complaints. Battery life is not ideal, but it’s plugged in for the most part so it doesn’t affect me :)

BennyReviewed in Canada on February 22, 20205.0 out of 5 stars Solid Mid Range Gaming Rig
This laptop has a lot going for it. Brand new it was way to expensive for the 1660ti config, but I got a very affordable warehouse deal. Item had 5 hours on it and a scratch on the charger.
I have owned the same configuration from dell in a g5 5590. This one is better.
Pros: light, thin, aluminium build, solid screen although it’s only 60hz. 16gb ram, dual channel (Samsung) SSD 128gb for fast startup , 1tb barricuda HDD for plenty of storage. Nice keyboard. Good internals, quality fans and huge heat pipes.
Con: loud when gaming. The reality is that this is all ultralight gaming rigs with powerful internals. It’s very reasonable when just doing small tasks, surfing the web, Netflix. The dell i owner was loud and hot as well it was just 1.5 pounds heavier.
TLDR?; I have tried about four different set up ranging from 800-1600 $ this is the best for portability and performance.
Rob HansenReviewed in Canada on November 6, 20205.0 out of 5 stars Aesthetically Beautiful - Decently Powerful
- Build quality is really good and the aesthetic is nice.
- It’s compact and pretty powerful, but that means it runs hot and the fan is always on and is decently loud - is what it is.
- The HDD was unallocated, forcing me to jump through hoops just access the storage and make the thing more than a paperweight. - what the heck is that about?
- Overall it seems to be a great little laptop, the warehouse deal was a huge discount so I’m definitely pleased.
- Braided power cable is a nice touch.
AmazonPlugReviewed in Canada on February 24, 20205.0 out of 5 stars It’s a beautifully build and best Windows laptop
Great laptop, strong build but it tends to sound a bit loud when gaming. But overall, razor blade laptop is among the best for window laptop
MattReviewed in Canada on October 19, 20202.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing
My unit had static noise through the headphone jack which I was not able to fix with drivers. I was really disappointed in the fan curve for this laptop. The fans run almost all the time even while web browsing. The fans also sound really annoying compared to some other laptops I have tried.
Swag1ordReviewed in Canada on July 26, 20241.0 out of 5 stars Unusable
The power adapter plug broke after a single day. I wasnt angry at that time as I wanted to use the laptop. I then ordered a brand new power adapter plug and it also stopped working.
Support from Razer was unreachable.
Well bad product.
