-for some games like destiny 2, the screen dims and un dims, and there isn't an intel driver fix for it. its just a power supply issue. one that cannot be fixed given the laptop wants to draw more power than the
-laptop will just turn off underload: see power supply issue above.
-keyboard feels bad, i know they are trying something new here, but it didn't work.
Expected a lot more for the money here, I wouldn't buy it again or any other pro version of this from Razer at this point.
Customer support is a low end troubleshooting tree. I have purchased dozens of laptops over the years and this is the worst technical customer support I have experienced. It's like rolling a dice to see if you get a 100% working unit. I am not going to take the risk for and RMA and repair with this type of Razor Customer service record, Unfortunately this one will be returned (my third return for this model). Razor has done and excellent job with marketing but they need to work on after sales support.
Additionally, as many others had noted which I unfortunately didn't read about until after this PC was on the way. The fans are sooo loud that you need headphones which cover your ears to be able to hear sound when playing a game which runs the graphics card hard at all. Dustbuster in your face comes to mind. Additionally the case runs so hot in areas that you could literally cook an egg on it.
This combine with the super short window for return from Amazon and no replacement policy even though the laptop is just over 60 days in my possession makes this one of the worst purchases I've made in a long time.
I highly recommend googling this laptop and reading about it and others experiences with this manufacturers laptops from the community before buying.
A month or so later, the 2017 model was announced and I figured it would be a safe bet to buy the latest model. Spent even more money (must have lost my mind paying $4600+). Received the new model. 1 week went by, and all was smooth. Yesterday, a little more than 2 weeks with the 2017 model and crash to the bios again. This is totally unacceptable to spend almost $5000 for a computer that will crash at random with the same symptoms of the previous model. Where is the quality control? I was assured by support in regards to all 3 units that I had that it was a small number of incidents. But this is 3 out of 3. I am very disappointed in the quality and guess the old adage of "you get what you pay for" is no longer the case. Never thought that I would have an issue with a computer that cost more than my 2nd car. Not my first beater, but my 2nd nice used car! Come on Razer, show a little pride and maybe do some testing. It is not a heat issue as it happens during stress AND during idle.
I will most likely not buy another razer until I can be sure that I'm not just loaning them $5000 a couple weeks at a time.

-Powerful Gaming Laptop
-Great Warranty System
-Fast Refresh Rate (120Hz)
-Good Quality Screen
-Bad Quality Control
-Atrocious Placement of Touchpad (They fixed it in the 2019 version)
I spent several hours on finding a good gaming laptop and found that this one was on sale so I took that opportunity and bought it. The laptop was unfortunately defective and I went through the warranty process to have a new one. That process was relatively smooth. I took a video of the problem (The top cover of the laptop could be pressed like a button) and they sent me a new one after sending mine back.
When I got the laptop again, I was still not satisfied. The touchpad was in such an awkward spot (especially since I'm a lefty) and I wasn't a big fan of the keyboard layout. I've since returned it and bought a different laptop (Aero 15x).
La solution de razer, formater et recommencer.
Pas très content du support de razer ni de la bête!
