I have been using a Razer Naga MMOG for years for games like WoW and FFXIV. Well, the left and right top buttons were no longer responsive, so I decided to get the Razer Naga Chroma MMO corded mouse as a replacement.
The price is great on Amazon, and I love the cycling lights. I also like that the number pad keys stick out more than my previous Naga, making the keys easier to find by touch. The new Naga has a rougher texture than the old Naga. I'm used to the smooth texture, so that will take some getting used to.
Now, despite being larger than my old Naga, it is about 5 grams lighter. Not a game changer, but something to be aware of.
The biggest issue for me is the large size of this mouse. I am female and my hands aren't that big (6.5 inches from bottom of palm to top of middle finger, 3 inches across middle of palm). The mouse is wider and slightly taller than my old one. This makes it a little awkward and uncomfortable to grip. If your hand is larger than mine, then this will probably be great for you. I understand that Razer's demographic will for the most part have larger hands than mine. If I can't get used to the mouse, then I'll most likely give it to my husband to use and find something different.
So I bought this mouse called them and have what they claim as "tracking issues" my curser would be all over the place. I contacted Amazon "thank god I bought it from them and not razer" so Amazon said all right we will send you another free of charge. Got the new one yesterday and the UPS guy snagged up the other one today now I'm having a very odd issue where my A/C unit is messing up the mouse I even have a video of it everytime my A/C kicks on/off or changes speed it turns the mouse off. I've never seen this before in my life.
Of course everytime I call razer its a battle with their I'll trained staff that refuses to transfer you to a supper or to a higher up of any kind I've begged and pleaded they always say "there's no one in the building" I find that very hard to believe that a multi-million dollar company never has anyone in the building.
If you get a Razer product and works right out of the box they're great products but man if you have to deal with their support you might as well demand a refund from Amazon ASAP because you will get nowhere with their support and I mean nowhere!
I've been buying Razer products since they started selling them. I've had naga molten, blue-black widow, Lycosa, death adder, siren, Vespula x2 "the glue likes to come undone in about a year and a half." naga ultimate, naga ultimate chroma, Tartarus and the orb weaver.
So yes I've bought a few of their products I haven't had to call them in years but never again I will ditch their brand and go elsewhere. Like I said great products but man their support is so awful that I will literally never buy another Razer product ever in fear that I might have to call them again in the future
