Product description

Get around with the most powerful and coolest electric scooter by Razor. The Razor E300 Electric Scooter includes everything that parents and teens have loved in the past with new matte gray styling. Boasting a super high-torque, ultra-quiet single speed chain-driven motor, and a handy twist-grip throttle, the E300 is the perfect device for teens or adults wanting to run errands or zip around the neighborhood. Unlike Razor's E100 scooters, whose motor requires a small manual kickoff, E300 starts off from a standing position. Once on the move, its ultra-powerful 300 watt electric motor ramps up to 15 miles per hour - fast enough to have fun, but not fast enough to be a menace on the street or sidewalk. And thanks to the long-lasting 24 volt rechargeable battery system, which takes about twelve hours to fully charge, riders can cruise for up to 40 minutes of continuous use. Other details include a retractable kickstand, a hand-operated front brake, and a pair of extra wide 10-inch pneumatic tires to ensure a smooth ride while you zip around the neighborhood. The E300 is recommended for ages 13 and older and offers a maximum weight capacity of 220 pounds. Scooter includes with a UL Approved battery charger, and all the tools needed for its light assembly, and is backed by a 90-day warranty. Assembled E300 measures 41” x 17” x 42” (L x W x H) and weighs 52 pounds. The buyer and rider of the E300 scooter are responsible for knowing and obeying all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the riding and use of scooters. Razor offers a range of electric scooters for ages eight to adult (E100, E200 and E300) - just match your age and weight to find your power ride. Item is hazmat and non-returnable.

4.0 out of 5 stars I'm 68 and fell like 18 again on this
By Rick Mortimer on October 21, 2017
I had to stop riding my bike because of a knee injury and bought this. I commute to work 2 days a week from Santa Cruz to Sausalito. I take my scooter with me on the train from San Jose to SF then I ride the scooter to the ferry building 2 miles away and catch the ferry to Sausalito then ride another mile to my work boat. The trip back drops me off at pier 39 an added 2 miles farther to go. Total it's 8 miles round trip dodging people the whole way and the Razor doe's it with ease. I'm 68 and fell like 18 again on this. My only complaint is you never know when you are going to run out of battery power, so I added a meter and now I know.

1.0 out of 5 stars Razor stopped putting the larger and wider tires on the ...
By JK on January 26, 2016
Razor stopped putting the larger and wider tires on the E300 scooter starting with product
version 41. The tires on the newer scooters are ridiculously small but yet Razor and Amazon are still advertising them as extra wide pneumatic tires. The pictures on the box and advertisements DO NOT MATCH the picture. This scooter will no longer do the advertised 15mph with these shorter tires. I have 2 - E300's that are 1 year older and both of them are faster than this one. I contacted Razor support and they acknowledged the scooters are now shipping with smaller tires but yet the boxes and wording are the same. I'm done with Razor products. I've included a photo to compare the difference in tire sizes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tons of fun, but just so you know...
Reviewed in Canada on July 13, 2020
We love this scooter, but things worth knowing :

Capacity ** Kids and parents can ride this thing, it has enough guts to move an adult.
Quality ** Chain and gears are a bit clunky making it sounds a bit cheapo, but runs ok;
Tires ** The inflated tires is the reason we got it, they are awesome for rough pavement and are smooth
Air valves ** Rear tire valve position is very badly designed, a real pain to inflate the tire;
Sturdiness ** The overall construction is made of steel, making it sturdy and strong. The rear fender is plastic and broke after a fall;
Runtime ** Expect about 25 to 45 min of fulltime runtime as per your weight and usage location (hills, surface style etc.)
Weight ** Unit is heavy, so if you intent to carry it around for camping or day trips, think twice.
Transport ** It has no means of folding without tools for transportation
Charging ** Charger must only be plugged for a max of 12 hours, so you can't leave it unattended for days while plugged, charging is slow, it takes several hours;
charge port : The little dust cap for the charger port is a pain to put on after charging.
Power switch ** Location of the power switch makes it easy to forget ON;
Kick stand : Ok stand, it does work on uneven surfaces and grass;
Throttle ** This is ON / OFF, you cannot modulate the speed :(
