I used this product once, and I can say the blades are too sharp. I know, that sounds like a non-problem. Of course they're sharp, it's a grater! But it's like the little teeth are too far away from the plane. When I tried to zest a lemon, the lemon got caught on the teeth and my hand kept moving. As I continued to zest the lemon, it got caught on the teeth multiple times, and flew out of my hand almost as many.

The blade cover also has holes/slits in it for some reason. This just seems like a great way to cut my hand when I reach into the drawer. I'll be donating this item. I've already ordered the name brand replacement.

I ordered it last month but didn't get a chance to use it til recently. I had no choice but to use it at that point so I didn't return it. At first glance the box it came in appeared to be in good shape but when I opened it to clean and use I realized that it was bent and out of shape. When I took a second more thorough look at the box I noticed that it looked like it was bent/crushed in on one side. The functionality wasn't affected too much but it bothers me that is not aesthetically pleasing. It is tricky to get the cover on because of this defect so I will most likely purchase another one from a different company.
