This is not to everyone's taste. There is almost a celebration of the ways in which you can repurpose stuff that is, to someone else's perspective, just total garbage. For example, the tea tin clock on the cover: nice repurposing. The smashed soda can repurposed as a clock: looks like garbage off the street turned into a clock.
I get the esthetic -- it's trash made into treasure, or at least functional commentary on our throwaway, disposable life style...
I just don't think I'd want to decorate my house that way.
If I had it to do all over again, I think I'd take this out of the library rather than buy it. (And I bought it used.)
