We plan to give it to him some day in the future (maybe high school graduation or when he turns 16). he can read all the nice messages his teachers and family wrote and know how much he is loved. The book is cute with fun illustrations. I like it so much better than "Oh, The Places You'll go!" I would definitely buy it again!

I bought this for my son's graduation. I ordered it intending to have teachers, friends, and family sign it with a message. I don't really like the book for that purpose because the writing is so cliche, with LOTS of mixed metaphors ("If you sink link a stone, feeling like you're in over your head, it may feel like you're fighting an uphill battle.") My students laughed out loud at the ridiculousness.
But it is small, blue, cute, and the pages are spacious enough that it would be fine as a 'sign-in' book at the graduation reception. There is also an inscription page (To:, From:, On the occasion of:, Date: ).
If you are looking for depth, it's NOT there. But otherwise nice, generic graduation book. First line reads "You've got your whole life ahead of you. The road may be bumpy, but at the end of the day you'll see the light, and you just might find yourself on top of the world" (See. Too many metaphors.)
