My father had his second stroke in February 2017 and I will say this, it's his FAVORITE THING!!! He has very limited left side mobility, but this gives him a lot of independence to do many things on his own. He loves it. It makes him happy and that means a lot... so with that... I had to submit a review.

I have arthritis. So it can be difficult to pick up things. I especially liked this Grabber for reaching into the clothes dryer and getting dry clothes out. We have a very small room used as a laundry room and when you open the dryer door it doesn't open all the way due to the wall being in the way. So to get clothes out of the dryer I have to lean over twist and bend to get clothing out. This Grabber has been an easy remedy to that particular problem. Well worth the money.

I bought this because of scheduled total hip replacement surgery. It cam before the surgery as expected. I had the surgery in Tuesday. And on Wednesday it worked well. In fact I decided it might be a good idea to purchase another to have around the house and so ordered one. However on Saturday after slightly more than 3 days of use it just stopped working. Pulling the trigger of the device and since I have just had major surgery I have no way to return the device. It looks fine and does nothing. Now what can I do? No grabber an no way to pick things up.

It is a little shorter than I thought it would be but it does the job I needed it for - pulling clothes out of a deep and narrow opening behind the opened drawer at the bottom of a laundry chute. The drawer was pulled out and all the clothes I'd tossed into the chute upstairs had fallen behind that opened drawer and it was totally dark down there - and out of reach of my arm. My daughter was used to leaning over and the total top of her torso went down into the hole and she was complaining of shoulder pain a lot.... but no more!!! This was the best reviewed and most purchased item in their line. I knew to buy it for her because I have one at home and can reach china cups on the highest shelf and bring them down safely.

My 83 year old mother lives in an assisted living facility, where she has limited assistance and struggles to maintain her independence with daily activities. This reacher helps her maintain her independence and dignity, helping her manage most of her daily tasks without waiting for someone to come to help her. It also minimizes the risk of her falling by being tempted to get out of her chair and stretch to the floor or above her head to reach something she really shouldn't attempt. This was the second of this grabber I'd purchased for her. The first broke - but NOT because it is of poor quality - it is, in fact, well-made, sturdy, and functional. (It broke only after being crushed & shoved between a heavy metal walker and car trunk lid!) Mom REQUESTED that I purchase for her "the same kind you got last time, because it was the best one I've used". (Others have been flimsy, gripped poorly, bent in half during use, etc.)

I believe in space-efficiency. To this end, I've put clothing-racks up high in order to make room for other things a little lower, No, not THOSE things! Anyway, I got one of these to pick up trash, like a date from the trailer-park. Nah, 'jes kiddin' y'all. Seriously, this little goodie is a Godsend! I find myself using it all the time, and it's handy as hell, and well worth the price of admission...Pick one up if your 'Space-Challenged' like I am.

I love this grabber. After having it for a while I do not know how I lived without it. No more climbing on the cupboard or on a chair to reach something on a high shelf. Even putting away things are so much easier. My 80 year old father recently broke his arm trying to climb on the sofa to fix the curtains so I purchased him one of these. He tells me he loves it and is using it for everything. Now, he is not getting enough exercise because he is reaching everything from his chair.
I have carpal tunnel and have no problems squeezing the trigger to grab something. I have sent my daughter outside to pick up garbage that blows into the side of our woods. She has even picked up a penny off the floor. I have even brought it when I mowed the lawn to move things out of the way so I do not have to shut the mower off and get off. Great product.

Bought this for picking up trash in my neighborhood, does the trick nicely. The jaws don't close exactly even, off by maybe 1/8", but doesn't affect the usefulness. Picks up cigarette butts as easily as you can with your fingers, without the gross-out. Build quality seems fine overall, do not expect the cable connecting the squeeze trigger to the jaws to break anytime soon. Fairly comfortable to hold and operate..

This grabber has a very weak grip strength. Even so after two weeks of use the cable pulled loose from the grabber ends. I have two others of this type grabbers bought locally that are many years old and better quality.

Love my grabber lol...I use it to retrieve socks and such from behind the washer, use it to help me make an impossible to make bed in our Escape Pod (which is what we call our little retro camper)....and could've really used it last year when I got a brand spankin new hip. This grabber is super well made compared to most I've seen. It's grabber end is strong and I'm always surprised what I can pick up with it. It's also strong enough to pinch my hubby when he least expects it haha. So if you're in need of a longer arm and an extra hand, this is it. Look no further!
