SHE READS TRUTH BIBLE FOR WOMEN
Women in the Word of God Everyday
Our heart for the She Reads Truth Bible is not to add to or improve on the perfect and complete gift of Scripture God has given us. Rather, our heart is for everything we’ve included in this Bible to point back to God and His Word. Every human word and element in this book is an intentional invitation for you to both read Scripture, grow in your affection for it and to count yourself among the She Reads Truth Community of "Women in the Word of God every day."
Throughout the text, find 189 written response to Scripture. Each devotional focuses on a particular passage and seeks to point solely to God and the gospel. To learn more watch the videos at the Official website.
66 Key Verses
Beautifully hand-lettered by fifteen different artists, the key verse art for each book serves to aid in memorization and celebrates the beauty of the gospel. To learn more watch the videos at the Official website.
Each book has its own custom reading plan, broken down into easy-to-read sections. Reading plans also include supplementary passages for added context and deeper understanding.
How is it translated?
Developed by more than 100 scholars from 17 denominations, the Christian Standard Bible faithfully and accurately captures the Bible's original meaning without compromising readability, helping you understand, experience, and share God's Word.
Christian Standard Bible
The Christian Standard Bible was created to help more people read and understand the word of God.
The CSB presents the truth of God's Word with accuracy and clarity for today's readers, equipping them for lifelong discipleship. The CSB is for everyone--for the youngest readers, those new to church, and long-time believers. It's a Bible pastors can preach from and a Bible you can share with your neighbor hearing God's Word for the very first time.

QUALITY review: I purchased the grey linen with sleeve. It all seems very well made, quality materials. Sleeve is sturdy and will definitely hold up to lots of use. The Bible slides in and out of sleeve with just a bit of friction, but no need for pulling or shaking to try to work it out. If you put paper notes in your Bible it may eventually not fit well in the sleeve. The Bible itself seems very sturdy. The spine seems strong. The linen is a beautiful grey and feels smooth. The writing is a pretty gold that catches the light and shines. The Bible lays flat when opened and does not seem to pull at the spine like it is stressing it. As many other reviews have stated, the pages are thin; however, they are NO MORE thin than every other Bible I own! I think what is throwing some people off is the different colors, extra characters, and art beyond just letters, along with lots of white space on pages. It is not a traditional lay out with lines of words matching up on every page. The paper feels buttery soft. Pages DO NOT feel like they will rip easily. A few pages were stuck together but pulled apart easily. The two sewn-in satin ribbon page markers are a nice touch, especially being two different colors.
CONTENT review: As stated, I own or have looked through many Bibles. Children’s Bibles are a great start to reading the Bible because of the artwork and story-like translation grabbing children’s attention. Study Bibles are great for in-depth study with all the references, maps, etc. I feel like this Bible is a great blending of those two ideas. The artwork and beauty of this book make you want to open it and turn the pages, the translation makes it easy to understand what you are reading and to want to keep reading, and all the extra information such as the one page devotionals, key verses, charts, timelines, reading plans, etc. are very helpful and informative to help you delve deeper into the Word.
Is this a “perfect” Bible? No! Like people, there is no such thing. If a Bible had everything in it that I personally wanted, it would be as big as a table and as thick as a tree trunk! However, this is the most beautiful personal Bible I have owned or even seen, to date. I will be buying one for each of my children as soon as I can. The SRT app, devotionals, artwork, and this Bible are all being used to draw people closer to God. If you are drawn to this Bible, I advice you to buy it. You can return it or gift it in the off chance it’s really not what you were expecting.
I love this bible so far!! Here are some pros and cons:
-CSB is easy to read (and very similar to NIV in my opinion)
-I like how the text is formatted like a regular book rather than having two narrow columns on each page
-Blank space in margins for notes if you like taking notes in your bible
-Contains "the bible in a year" reading plan as well as a topical index, reading plans for each book of the bible (which I LOVE, and it includes cross references to the text), and devotionals. Also contains timelines for many of the books and maps
-Kind of heavy - not exactly a portable bible
-Pages are kind of see-through, which I sometimes find distracting
Anyway I'm super happy I found this bible. I did a lot of investigating before buying a new women's study bible and this one was the winner.
I hope you order it and enjoy it as much as I do!
One thing to note, and the only reason that I am rating it 4 stars:
I guess I maybe should have known this prior to ordering, but it is not able to be imprinted/engraved. I contacted both the SRT team and the local LifeWay store. LifeWay said they don't do it for that material, and SRT never gave me a clear answer on whether it could or not. I figured that the creators of this book would be aware if it was possible at all, but I guess not.
Other than that I love that the book has no lines so I can box in my text and draw arrows to the scripture I am noting about.
