This book provides practical, actionable steps to help kickstart any goal. Not only that, it extends its reach, helping you look at your goals in the context of your life. It offers steps to review your life and make room for the things that matter.
Some of the steps are simple. Common sense, even. But Fisher and Woods guide you in applying simple common sense to big dreams, bridging the gap between wishing and doing.
This is not a "sit down and read about concepts and put it back on the shelf" kind of book. It's about simple daily actions that, when combined, add up to results. Line up a partner, and go through the daily action steps together. Hold each other accountable, share your daily responses, and encourage each other.
I was surprised at how quickly I can take an inventory of where I stand in various aspects of my life (Day 5) or choose a specific goal to improve a weak area (Day 8). Commit yourself to 30 days, 10 minutes a day with this book, and see where it will take you.
Instead they take you from literally day one on a 32 day journey of walking you through where you are in your life and take y on baby steps to moving forward with creating goals that you can achieve. This is all done through a process that is very realistic, while stressing the importance of accountability and reviewing where you are.
A great guide for anyone struggling or wanting to take their life to the next level. An easy 5 star book.
Easy read; I completed the entire book in just a few hours. I will read it again and begin taking immediate action. Read many books on the topic but for some reason this one has really inspired me to dive in and take a leap of faith.
