Ready for Hillary allowed millions of supporters to speak in unison with their collective, resounding voices.

Despite considerable challenges, Ready for Hillary's supporters planted a flag, organized, survived and thrived far beyond even the wildest imaginations of its founders. Millions of Hillary supporters joined a national grassroots movement, interjecting themselves into both Hillary's decision-making process and democracy itself. As Communications Director for the national grassroots movement Ready for Hillary, Seth Bringman traveled to 45 states and met Hillary Clinton supporters from all walks of life. Speaking on behalf of four million Americans who joined the Ready for Hillary movement, he was a major voice in encouraging Hillary to run for President of the United States. A native of Woodville, Ohio (population 2,100), Bringman is a public relations professional and expert in connecting national political efforts to voters in the heartland of America.

He served as Communications Director of the Ohio Democratic Party from 2009 until 2012, playing a central role in efforts to protect Ohioans' collective bargaining rights and stop voter suppression measures. Bringman holds a Master's degree in political management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Diplomacy & Foreign Affairs from Miami University. He resides in Columbus, Ohio.

In his role with Ready for Hillary super PAC, he was interviewed by ABC, Al Jazeera, BBC, Bloomberg, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, NHK, NPR and major newspapers across the country and around the world.

I remember first hearing about Ready for Hillary and thinking it was a cool, but very odd, organization. However, as the months went on, it became clear this organization was politically groundbreaking -- an idea that will surely be tried again in the future. Not sure if they will have as much success as RFH though, and that's something this book makes clear: the people behind Ready for Hillary, from the two founders to the thousands of volunteers across the country, made this organization a one of a kind.

This book tells a really great story about two passionate people starting something much greater than themselves, and how that thing became a political phenomenon. If you're interested in 21st century "grassroots" politics, going from zero to 1,000,000 plus fans in less than a year on social media, or just learning about a 'rag tag' group of people who kept on going when times got rough to become one of the most successful Super PACs in history, definitely check this book out! (I should also add it's a very easy read.)

As someone who isn't involved in the political field at all, it was fascinating to gain insight into the many stages of the "Ready for Hillary" movement that continues to grow as she is in the middle of her campaign. Seth Bringman brings to light the personal stories of those involved from the beginning and I was glad to read the honest account of the roller-coaster of a ride that he took across the country as he worked to gain support for Hillary Clinton. My favorite part of this book are the individual stories he tells of the kind and generous people he met across his journey who sacrificed their time, money, and energy to join in supporting someone they truly believe should be the next President of the United States. Wow. What a book. I followed all things Ready for Hillary from the beginning (obviously) including all of the media coverage. But this book goes far beyond - diving deep into the story of Hillary's millions of supporters. I'm proud to be one of them, and I'm so glad this story is being told. I especially enjoyed the bus stories of the random people across the country and their comments and reactions (good and bad!) to the Hillary bus. I also didn't realize all of the challenges that the Ready for Hillary organization had to overcome. Pretty incredible story from beginning to end.
