This book is filled with sentences that never stop (run ons), words placed wherever a heart desires, incomplete thoughts, unexisting punctuations, and a bunch of other MESS... If I had bought the actual book, it would be a prop on the floor to even out a table leg.
I did however, find all of the misspellings and grammatical mistakes extremely distracting from the content of the book and found myself wanting to take a red pen to its pages. As someone who works in PR and understands the importance of writing and attention to detail in your field, I find it a bit disturbing that you published a book aimed at those looking to work in the industry that has so many glaring errors in it. Hire a different editor for your next edition/book, this one did a terrible job.
If you want to work in fashion, this is a must! Thank You Crosby for sharing your knowledge and not letting me forget that you should always do what you love and what you are really passionate about. Like Jennifer Bambrough, JDVB Media, said "But who gets anywhere in life without taking risks?"
The format is organized in a smart and resourceful manner that is easy to follow. Crosby provides expert advice from her own journey as well as insight from some of the biggest names in the Fashion PR industry. I recognized many of my idols and was fascinated to gain a fresh perspective into the industry. If this is a field you're passionate about, Ready to Launch will not only help you in obtaining your goals, it will be the motivation you need to take on the world!
