From the Author
But there are VERY darned few books on the metaphysical that are designed for those new to the topic AND that offer a broad overview of metaphysical thought and practice. And of those VERY few, there are even FEWER that are fun to read, that don't insist that they're "The Truth," and that explain things in a way that makes sense.
And, you know what? That irritated me.
That's why I condensed 20 years' experience as a psychotherapist and 40 years' experience in metaphysical living and practice into Ready for the Woo-Woo Stuff? A Down-to-Earth Look at the Metaphysical.
I had fun writing it, and I'm told by people who have read it that it's both compelling and fun to read. I'll leave you to make up your own mind, of course, but just to give you the idea, here's a quick snippet from the Epilogue:
This concludes our guided tour of the metaphysical carnival. I'd like to thank you for your attention, and I hope that you'll visit often.
You may have found the tour to be interesting, fascinating, intriguing, repulsive, or ludicrous; if I've done what I set out to do with this book, you should not have found it bewildering, mystifying, or incomprehensible. My intent was to provide a consistent, down-to-earth framework for understanding many of the aspects of the metaphysical--without, however, insisting that "this is the way it is."
Obviously, I hope you read the book. Even more than that, I hope you find it useful as you take your first steps into the Unseen--because there's no greater adventure to be had down here on Planet Dirt.
