This book humanizes the funeral directors. It shows us they are not just some stoic robot that is ready to grab money from the families of the deceased individual but that they have true compassion and sympathy for what the survivors are enduring.
You will learn that a funeral director is there to assist the family in all their needs; and personalize the service. They don’t just prepare a body for the visitation and funeral but they are counseling the family and are there to help them get through the grieving process, and make the experience less painful.
These ladies and gentlemen, I don't feel chose their careers, but actually, like priests, nuns, ministers, etc. they were called to this profession. You will become aware of this as you read each individual's stories.
I can guarantee after you read this you will look at every funeral director in a different light; as will I.
