This is more than it seems. It's delightful to see happy people, of course, to live vicariously through them while anticipating or remembering one of the great moments from one's own life. It feeds the spirit to be reminded that such delight is a regular part of so many people's lives--of human life. But what stands out to me is the wholesomeness of the whole endeavor.
I regard wholesomeness as one of the four main virtues, alongside independence, wisdom, and honor. Independence was my earliest and most natural virtue, while discovering the existence of wholesomeness and putting a name to the concept took me decades of thought and observation--and my spirit took a beating for my blindness. I think wholesomeness is not well understood in our culture, and yet is crucially important to human thriving.
If you're interested in this highly underrated virtue, this series is one of the things you'll want to get into. It is focused on an event that a huge part of life revolves around. Archimedes said "give me a fulcrum, and I will move the world". That's what Love Stories TV is in a position to do with these wedding videos. If you're an ally of wholesomeness, you'll be delighted at the people you'll discover exist here; they are more than mere kindred spirits, they are thriving crusaders.
Kyle's best man speech in E4 has a perspective worth contemplating.
