5.0 out of 5 stars A most important book for today's professional salesperson
By Anthony Iannarino on October 27, 2021
You may or may not know my friend, Mareo McCracken, the author of the new book Really Care for Them, a book with what may be the longest subtitle in history (it's practically a chapter). The subtitle is: How Everyone Can Use the Power of Caring to Earn Trust, Grow Sales, and Increase Income. No Matter What You Sell or Who You Sell It To.

Mareo is a voracious reader. Following him on LinkedIn is to experience a treasure trove of quotes and ideas from the many books has consumed. More than that, however, is the fact that he is one of the good guys, coming from a place of contribution, one that he has confirmed through Really Care for Them.

In my first book, the third chapter is titled: Caring: The Desire to Help Others, a chapter that one editor claimed to explain why he didn't want to publish the book. The book went on to be a USA Today bestseller, even with such a "controversial view" of sales that it would include something like "caring."

Mareo's book is exactly right for this time. He has taken the principle of being other-oriented and helping our clients to improve their results and given the treatment they needed by writing "the book that defines the category."
