How wonderful that I was able to buy these Bobby Darin recordings from Amazon's large supply of digital music. Bobby recorded a large amount of music, but these songs I selected were among the best of his repertoire. Here, his extraordinary talent matches or surpasses (my personal opinion) that of Frank, or even Bing. Just like Perry Como, (whose very relaxed style of singing was apparent in most of his music) Bobby sails through these songs with the greatest of ease, showing poise and tremendous control of his instrument. My favorite in this bunch is "For Baby", a song apparently written in honor of a child. The first time I heard it, it brought a lump to my throat and tears to my eyes.A shame we lost him so early. Thanks, Bobby.
