This light is really better than expected, especially for the price. I’m kind of a flashlight fanatic - I have many from old to new. I bought this because it said 5000 lumens, and for the price. I didn’t really expect 5000 lumens...but it actually may be close. I have a few nice, small RovyVons rated at 550 lm and this is brighter over a wider area than them. It’s way brighter than a good OBeam from a few years ago rated at 450 lm, and this one is quite a bit smaller. A 100W incandescent is about 1600 lm, so 3.2 of those is ~5000 lm. I have two 100 W recessed lights in the room I’m writing this from, and another in the hallway. This light is noticeably brighter than all the light in the room when I turn it on...the only downside is the cheap microUSB flap, but it should keep out moisture. And having both the rechargeable battery and the insert for 3 AAA batteries is a great plus. I may have to get another of these.

Very bright like advertised. Only downsides are it does get hot after heavy use and the rubber covering over the charging port is loose and flimsy. If it comes off and you lose it, that takes away the splash rating and could potentially damage the flashlight.

This thing is super bright! I'm definitely impressed with that aspect. After having it on the brightest setting for 5-10 mins it does get uncomfortably hot if you're not wearing gloves. 102° F is too much. An LED flashlight should only be warm at most. I should be able to use my flashlight for longer than 5 minutes and not play hot potato with it.

Idealy when one thinks of a tactile light one would think that it would have some heat dissapation fins for cooling enough length to keep your hands from the hot spots and a big led cob and a powerful adjustable lens to control those lumens and a huge ginormous 26650 battery to drive all that energy out to where its needed well that is certainly one reason i snagged this tactile black beauty, the upper and lower halfs completely unscrew and separate as does the bottom end cap.
The battery indicator bright bluish lights near the on/off buttons are hard on my eyes and am not really quite sure just how accurate they really are but i guess i can deal with it.
Battery consumption is fairly reasonable considering the overall output intensity, Not sure how this would fair if it was dropped from waist height never tried it knock on wood, Can be charged by usb however i just use a separate charger, suites me well. Weight overall feels good, a good beefy feel, feel fine inside of a average hand. The button easy to push without glove with glove not so easy.

It's durable, very bright, battery life is good. I dislike having to select through the power button 5 times before powering off. The weight it is a heavy light but for the money it's ok. I haven't found a tactical belt holster for it yet I'm sure someone makes one for this size. I like the brightness but you cannot focus or zoom the light to a smaller range. Over all I keep it in my carry on pouch bc I work nights and am up nights so it helps when I walk my dogs, am in my car looking for stuff or tools, sitting on my porch and need to shine light in the yard.

Solid and bright but worthless battery

This is a 4 star light with a 0 star battery. The light is very bright and effective for use at work (I do deliveries at night and need to be able to see addresses across the street or down long driveways and this usually does the job as long as it's not too far). It has some features I would do differently or it would be a 5 star light. Most tactical flashlights toggle through modes with quick or half button presses and remember the mode to turn on and off with a single press, but this one you must cycle through all modes every time you use it. The water resistant cover for the charging port doesn't stay in the port so it's always uncovered. And I'd personally go with a usb-c port, or just not use the light to charge the battery. The battery is awful. The charge doesn't last long and it only charged three times and now it's completely dead. Won't work, won't charge. The flashlight still works with other batteries but the battery that came with it is dead in just a month.
