The format of the book is also very easy to read for those who may have troubles reading due to brain fog or concentration issues. The font size, bullet-points, as well as the overall 'recipe-style' format of the book makes it very pleasing on the eye.
The first half of the book explains the 12 Steps, how to apply them to living with chronic pain/illness, and gives several examples from members and how they applied that particular Step to their life. The second part of the book is full of stories from CPA members in recovery and what this wonderful 12 Step program has done for them.
I have a FB support group for those who live with chronic pain/illness, and when they are looking for book recommendations, this book is always at the top of the list. Today I LIVE with my illness and pain with serenity and that is thanks to the 12 Steps of Chronic Pain Anonymous.
