This is an awesome book. It is laid out very well, and extremely easy to understand. The author genuinely has a talent for explaining things in a way that make them easy to comprehend. I was extremely confused after reading the API for Angular and this book has made it much easier to understand the API. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to get their feet wet with Angularjs.

This is by far the best resource I've found for AngularJS. Typically when I purchase a programming book, I expect to see items which aren't already covered in online tutorials or are described/taught better than in online tutorials, and this book meets that expectation. Also, this is a short read and doesn't get wordy like some other Angular or MEAN books that are 400+ pages.

The code samples are screwed up when viewing the book with the Amazon Kindle app on Android, but they work on Windows PC. This is mostly a collection of tips and examples of techniques you could find elsewhere on the Internet if you searched around. Having them collected in a book is convenient if you are just getting started with Angular.

Pretty good. It does a decent job of walking through specific use cases. As you might expect, it doesn't always have the recipe you're looking for. I found the selection of use cases to be pretty good, but frequently just not what I needed. I don't want to fault the author too much for this, because it is impossible to predict everything a reader might want to do. But, I feel like the breadth of topic could have been a little better considered.

I understand the "recipes" format, but I was looking for something that was more of a Step-by-Step intro. Experienced AngularJS programmers will likely enjoy this more than newbies, given the ad hoc nature of the demonstrations.

I enjoyed and recommend this book for anyone that is already familiar with Angujar.is as well as those just getting started. It has real world solutions to real world problems. I like its consistent format that clearly shows how to use the technologies. Great examples of nesting directives and some unique approaches I hadn't thought of. These types of enlightenments are what inspire me to always keep learning and stay current. Great book!
