About the Author
Amber Lea Easton is a multi-published fiction and nonfiction author. Smart is sexy, according to Easton, which is why she writes about strong female characters who have their flaws and challenges but ultimately persevere. She currently has seven contemporary romance and romantic suspense novels out in the world: Kiss Me Slowly, Riptide, Reckless Endangerment, Anonymity, In Between, Dancing Barefoot, and White Out. Her memoir, Free Fall, is dedicated to suicide prevention, awareness, and helping others navigate the dark journey of grief. In addition, Easton works as an editor, freelance journalist, and professional speaker. She speaks on subjects ranging from writing to widowhood. Some of her videos on romance writing have appeared on the international Writers & Authors television network. Current radio appearances are linked via her author website, http://www.amberleaeaston.com. Easton currently lives with her two teenagers in the Colorado Rocky Mountains where she gives thanks daily for the gorgeous view outside her window. She finds inspiration from traveling, the people she meets, nature and life’s twists and turns. At the end of the day, as long as she's writing, she considers herself simply to be "a lucky lady liv'n the dream."

The strength that Hope Shane shows is extraordinary, but is also able to show a tender, vulnerable side which makes the character extremely creditable.
The story flows well and kept me engaged throughout. Just when I thought I had this plot figured out, Easton throws in a twist or two or three I had not seen coming.
I would definitely recommend this book. You will not be disappointed. I am now once again waiting for Easton's next book.
Michael's injuries and PTSD cause him to try to push her away but Hope is determined. She also suffers from her own traumatic memories. It's a human trafficking story she's working on that ultimately brings them back together. But Hope's involvement jeopardizes everyone she loves.
This is an exciting, suspenseful book but at its core, it's a heart-wrenching love story. I highly recommend it.
RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT grips the reader with a compelling, complex, romantic, suspense-filled story that involves emotional, physical, and relational healing, political intrigue, and human trafficking. Once you pick it up, forget about the chores, or the phone, or the television. You will be swept along to its exciting finish.
