His story takes him and the reader on some wild twists and turns, and delving deeper into his character makes all of us girls who love the "bad boys" fall a little bit in love. You can't help but root for him. KL's character development in this 2'nd endeavor leaves us wanting more, more, more! I actually read the entire thing in one sitting, because I couldn't wait to find out what happened next!
Now, I'm anxiously awaiting the 3'rd installment to learn about Jaxson's story. If you're looking for a steamy summer read, do yourself a favor and pick up this book NOW! You won't be disappointed!
I enjoyed this book. It is quite unique in its storytelling.

it was amazing
Read 2 times. Last read May 10, 2017.
I was pleased to read this and find that Gauge wasn't quite such a bad guy as it had appeared, there is a lot more to his story than we first see in the first book about his brother Brae. In this he is trying hard to get his life back on track and prove to his family that he is worth their effort and love. But it isn't all plain sailing, with a new love interest who has complications of her own it could go either way at times. I really enjoyed reading this and cant wait for book three, especially as there a few things left hanging open at the end of this. Interesting and a bit suspenseful with some violence, threats and explicit sexual content. I read in a day so not massively long depending on how much time you have to read in a day, I do feel you need to read the first book to get the full story or some things might not make sense.
