Tamara endures every struggle and emotion Max goes through. And it's a lot. There are other women who want a piece of his life and Max isn't pushing them away as he should. Tamara remains silent because Max is dealing with a lot as he searches for clues on his son.
However, Tamara is human and after things hit a bright spot her relationship with Max hits a rough spot.
Eventually Max gets his stuff together, but it may be too late for his relationship with Tamara.
Angst, but not over the top.
Great story within the story.
Great supporting characters.
At times Max didn't deserve Tamara.
I wish Tamara would have given him more grief.
The last part of the book should have been longer, because Max got off the hook rather easily. Tamara should have made him pay.
Afterwards is where I think she gave in too easily: months pass... Max should have been told he was going to be put in the friend zone and watched her date other men. I did like that she was willing to move on. I would recommend and both books are well worth the price.
