We have been promoting this book for Fifi for weeks now and I finally got to read it and let me tell you I was hooked from the go. I got to talk to Fifi for the first 60% of the book and as I told her I had a girl crush on Julia real quick. I loved her sense of humor and her free spirit. Then when she headed to Chicago, WOW!!! Hello hot artist and hot curator.

Julia was a free lance writer and had been corresponding via text and email with the curator she would be interviewing for her next piece. She imagined him to be an old guy with a bow tie and all that. Ha! She was so wrong!

When Mr. Curator gives her instructions to meet him at a warehouse so he can show her something she is in for one helluva surprise. As soon as she walks off the lift she is met with a very hot male, who she assumes is the curator, and instructed to strip and get onto the bed.

Julia does as she’s told and then later when Mr. Curator walks through the door asking the artist if the woman he was to meet had shown up Julia realized that he meant her. I was really laughing hard over this, but my laughter died a quick death when these two alpha males took things to a whole new level.

There was just something about Pierce (Mr. Curator) that I couldn’t figure out, but the more I learned about Emerson (sexy artist) the more I loved him. This book was a quick and easy read and so much more than just a hot read there is true love to be found here and I wanted more.

Well I got a little more with the extra little short story to be found at the end of the book and I won’t tell who is was about, but it was about either Emerson or Pierce and it was HOT as well and just what that man needed.

I have to give Reclining Nude in Chicago 5 stars and I’m looking forward to reading more from this author!!

Julia is a reporter who is meeting an art curator, Pierce, to interview him for her article. She ends up walking into a loft where an artist, Emerson< is waiting for his model, who is late. He is very abrupt and demands her to strip, climb on the bed and not speak. She does as she is told. It isn't until Pierce shows up and she realizes the mistake that she gets uncomfortable. Both men take their time making her feel totally comfortable with them. She enjoys her time with them both and is sad to leave.
She realizes that she has feelings for Emerson and enjoys a few days that he spends at her home. When she returns to the art museum for the Gala she see's Emerson with another woman and thinks that she has been replaced.
Has she? Was their time together just good fun for him? Read it to see how it ends, you wont be disappointed. Some HOT sex scene's too!!!

Reclining Nude in Chicago is a beautiful read. I really enjoyed it and although it was only 156 pages, it said more in those pages than many love stories I have read that were 300- 400 pages or longer. The book is well written and the characters are well-developed. It has a good plot and I did not really know what was going to happen, (even though I knew what I wanted to happen) until all was revealed at the end of the book. After reading this book, I went right to Amazon to see if she had written any other books, this one was that good!

A free-lance art writer, Julia, has always had a love of the artist Matisse, since she studied his works in college and now she has a lead to a new exhibit that is going to be shown in Chicago, so her boss gives her the okay to go and see what is going to be shown when the exhibit opens in a couple of months. She calls the museum and no one knows much so she asks to be connected with the curator. He is not there so she leaves a message.

The curator, although a slightly rude person to begin with, asks her question after question talks with her a while more and tells her to come to Chicago and he will give her the rundown and show her around the museum. Julia excitedly agrees to go in a week's time. During the week while she is waiting to go, Pierce texts her constantly and they have some interesting conversations. The day she leaves he gives her the door code and the elevator code of where he wants her to go, so so they can meet.

This is where things get interesting! Julia shows up and does not see anyone at first so calls out and a man starts yelling at her for being late and tells her to remove all of her clothes and get on the bed!

I love this book, it was light, airy and crisp. The sex scenes were hot and erotic. It was a sweet story without the clinginess on either part even those they craved one another. Love these short, sweet reads. Also, learned about artists and their work

What’s a girl to do when told to strip and get on the bed? Well pose of course! Freelance writer Julia Van Rothfelder is suppose to be interviewing the curator of a museum hosting her favorite artist. Instead she finds herself posing nude. The curator looks nothing like she pictured in her head after their brief messages. While laying nude on the bed in walks a handsome well dressed man. Who could he be? When it all gets straitened out, Julia gets her interview and a little more than she bargained for.

This is a hot sexy romp on the wild side. Fifi Flowers always manages to put humor in her books along with finding interesting ways to pair up the perfect couples. She has revamped the original story and made it even better! I own and read the original story, but I was gifted a copy of the new version for an honest review. If you liked the original you will love the updated version. If you haven’t read it what are you waiting for?
