As some of the other reviewers have mentioned, it comes with a sticker on the face of the blade. I removed it using some rubbing alcohol. It removed the paper sticker entirely, though there's a little clear residue left over from the adhesive. I'm sure it could be removed with a little more effort, but I don't think it's a problem, so I haven't bothered.
Few things I've used it for:
1) Cutting away caulk when removing molding
2) Helping to pry molding off the wall
3) Removing some kind of glue some idiot had applied to the bottom exterior edge of the bathtub. Still don't know why it was there.
4) Putty knife
5) Opening paint cans
Really please with this so far. It's flexible, but doesn't look like it's going to break or snap anytime soon. Cleans up nice and the sharp edge has remained sharp.
But I hate the sticker. I made a mess of it trying to get it off, real unsightly and it's unnecessary.
Don't see why the sticker that can't be removed without great difficulty has to be there. The spackling knife would be better without the sticker.
-Has a large sticker on blade. Not a real big deal, but it took me a little bit to get mine off.
Overall I would say that it was definitely worth the price. It doesn't cost a lot, and it isn't junk. I would buy again.
Point is: It's a putty knife. It does putty knife things adequately. What more do you need?
