When painting it is great when preparing the surface (Pull nails, scrape old paint, get rid of sticky items, in a pinch it works to take out screws)
I've used it to remove caulk
I've used the butt end to pound something flush (very minor tapping in would not want to actually 'hammer' with it)
and there are all sorts of other uses it has been a great little tool.
my husband scoffed and me and asked me what I needed it for. Now he often steals it from when when we are working on projects.
Worth the money and in fact I probably should buy him one so I can actually use the tool myself.
I have used this to scrape paint, apply putty and clean paint rollers. It worked fine.
I also use the flat side of the tip (the side opposite the pointy side) to open paint cans.
I have not tried to use it to remove nails. I'm not sure how well it would work on medium to large size nails.
All in all a useful tool. (I agree w/ other reviewers regarding how difficult the label is to remove -- pieces of mine are still stuck on after months of use . . .)

Used it for scraping paint at edges of a concrete floor that had previously been painted. It is sturdy, good quality and worked well.Published 1 month ago by Donna in Cleveland
Cheap handle that rattles or allows blade to wiggle. How do the Chinese manage to take a great old tool and turn it into crap.Published 1 month ago by Donald W. Garner
Very well made. Scrapes well and a good design. Used this painters scraper to dig out and scrape old silicon caulk inside of a shower stall.Published 7 months ago by Charles Brousseau
feels weak and cheap in my hand. Sharp section is not sharp at all.Published 12 months ago by Atwood
