Andrew d'Vant is the Red Fury. Possibly the most feared mercenary solider around. He travels with a huge army.
He has worked hard to be the best, because he has a personal battle he must , one day be strong enough to fight.
The Scottish King is trying to make an advantageous ( to him) match . That worries our heroine, as she believes she knows who will be the sacrificial lamb.
An epic medieval, romantic adventure. The characters will draw you into their lives, and the era they live in. This author gives us a really big book that has so much happening all the time. It needs all those pages to cover the things that our characters must face. We meet several secondary characters that I hope we will see again in future books.
This author never disappoints me . I have thoroughly enjoyed every single one of hers that I have read.
Ps. I have a sneaking suspicion that she has an issue with people in authority. Most of her heroes have to face down the most powerful in the land.
In The Red Fury, she has you basically from the title, you're be asking " Who or what is the Red Fury? " When you start reading you will not be able to control when and how you read the book for Kathryn le Veques story of Andrew and Josephine will pull you in you will be exasperated with Justine and her silly ways, you will be laughing how Josephine attacks Andrew when she meets him, and you'll find thatc Kathryn has you living along with her character's as they live in an era befoe our time.
Reading this book has brought so many feelings of how people lived in the Medieval time, the way people were treated, the way they we're fears or loved to their beliefs and to how far they would go for those that they loved or hated.
Kathryn le Veques has done another wonderful book of a legendary man and his lady to life and she keeps writing their stories that keep us (her fans) loving them and wanting more.
