From the Author
I'm thrilled to bring you TO REDEEM A HIGHLAND ROGUE,the 2019 RONE Winner in the Historical Scottish Category.
When fate plays a dirty trick on Arieen and Coburn, they both show what intrinsically decent people they are. I never know my characters as well as I think I do, and they both pleasantly surprised me as the story progressed.
I threw in a few twists to keep you on the edge of your seats too. My reviewers have told me this was one of the most touching stories they've read.
I hope you enjoy it too.

The H is poor cousin to the Laird. How his story began will break your heart. We are told how awful it was for him being alone. I wanted more of his backstory because it made him the man he is.
There are only a few kisses, so a clean story. Romance builds slowly for the h but is rather quick for the H. We have two nasty villains which will make you feel for the h in what she hears.
We have no cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA a fantastic epilogue that I adored. I recommend this author and her many amazing stories. She always writes her character's with such depth and pulls you into her stories from the first page to the end. (ljb)
Coburn is handsome, intelligent, somewhat carefree, and satisfied with his life as Logan’s steward and second in command. Arieen is intelligent and kind, but she is still young and a little self-absorbed. She needs a way to grow up a little more and a chance to prove herself. This is a wonderful story that starts a little tense, moves to betrayal and sadness, and becomes happy. There are surprises in the story, some not particularly nice, but the last one in the story is awesome. To Redeem a Highland Rogue is the second book in The Heart of a Scot series. I recommend the book and the series.
It is the story of Coburn Wallace and
Arieen Gillian Kinna Flemin. Arieen is supposed to marry Viscount Quartermain but she is trying to find a way to call it off.
The only thing that happens is she finds out Robert Flemin is not her father and he disowns her.
Now what will hapin I’m pen?
Coburn helps her with his cousin’s help. Logan Rutherford hires her as a secretary.
A new life begins for Arieen working for Logan.
Coburn and Arieen lives are changing with them as well.
The last part of the book is a very good ending !
The plot is interesting and the dialog is good. A strong, independent women struggling against society's dictates and a rogue suddenly ready to reform collide at a ball. Perfect luck!
Don't make us wait too long. We need more of those rogues you write about so well!

Coburn Wallace is a man who enjoys life and women to the fullest. As cousin and second-in-command to Logan Rutherford, he has no need or desire to marry and produce an heir. When a beautiful female pirate demands he kiss her, who is he to refuse such an unexpected gift? When he witnesses all that transpires after their kiss, his honour demands he marry Arieen for his unwitting contribution to her ruination.
This book overlaps the previous one in the series, whilst it could easily be read on its own I’d recommend reading the first book. Another lovely read which I read in two sittings. The book is well written & the characters well fleshed. My heart went out to Arieen & I really, really wanted her father to suffer, maybe losing all his investments & becoming a pauper would have been fitting. Coburn & Arieen were attracted to each other from their first sighting but neither wants to marry & can’t believe the other feels the same way. Things don't go smoothly for them on the road to their HEA but it’s highly entertaining. This is a second edition & has extra material, I especially enjoyed the prologue & epilogu which seemed to pull the story together
