When I wrote 'Redemption of the Sorcerer' I had an image in mind of a great fantasy story that crossed universes involving magic as well as all the other great fantasy elements. But also I knew it was going to be an epic tale about one mans struggle to not only defeat an evil foe who hid in shadow, but also a journey of redemption for a flawed man who had to overcome his own deficiencies before he had a sliver of hope toward saving two worlds from destruction. 'Redemption of the Sorcerer' was my first novel and it's still my favorite. It's a huge story encompassing not only two worlds but thousands of years, and it all comes down to the final climactic moments of the book, to see who lives and who dies, as well as can Crystalon succeed and save everything he's come to care about in the few short months on his new world. It's an exciting roller coaster ride that fans of the 'Harry Potter', 'Indiana Jones' and 'Lord of the Rings' books and movies will definitely enjoy. Give it a try, I'm confident you'll love the adventures of Crystalon.
From the Back Cover
Crystalon is a sorcerer of unprecedented power. He is the ruler of his world and universe. But Crystalon is still a man, and not a God. What happens when that man, after centuries of immortal life and power loses his way, giving in to human temptations until he is finally seduced by the power he wields?
What follows is an epic adventure that spans two universes, while the man caught in the midst of it all seeks redemption from his past sins. But will he see the error of his ways in time to save both universes from an evil, unknowable enemy, and utter annihilation? Or will an incalculable amount of innocent souls be damned to an eternity of enslavement and doom?
'Redemption of the Sorcerer' is an epic fantasy novel that will have you on the edge of your seat to the very last page!

This is a book suitable for nearly all ages. I enjoyed the subtle and yet strong authorial message that strength isn't always about those that shout and smash, and that we need to appreciate what we have when we have it.
A fun read, this reminded me of the recent Marvel films with its wit, humour, grand sense of adventure and the conscious fact neither the movies nor this book take themselves too seriously.
A sweeping range of characters, good dialogue and a lovely pace all make this a nice easy read. If you enjoy YA fantasy (which this predominantly is) then I do urge you to give this a shot. Yes, there are aspects of the editing that are a bit ropey and could do with a fine tune (repetitive sections and a little bit too much telling rather than showing), but I don't feel this detracts too much.
Crystalon is a sorcerer banished to live in modern earth among normal humans. Stripped of his Godly powers he has to adjust to being a mere mortal man. What he seeks is redemption from his past sins. He makes a few friends although he is leery and does not trust easily.
Soon he finds himself in the middle of a war between good and evil. Will he receive the redemption he seeks? Will he make peace with his past? And finally will he be able to fight the battle?
A fantastic fantasy story, with characters that are likable. Action packed, secrets revealed, with twists and turns. I highly recommend to fantasy fans.
