I enjoyed this book so much, I have never been to Washington or our capitol or any of these places in the book. I loved the info and hope I will get to visit all the places mentioned in this book before I leave this world. How could anyone want to destroy this beautiful country? Our GOD will keep this country safe. Let's never forget to pray to HIM and praise HIM for HIS goodness and our safety.

Newt G is very brainy but this one is easy to read and an important digest of the true role of religion in the founding of this country. You will discover things you never knew and extra facts on what you DID know. Makes me very sad but prayerful about where our country is currently headed. Mr. G makes no theological distinctions or judgments about our forefathers' level of religious thought but compiles a great picture of how widespread in that time was the belief that God Almighty had indeed had a mighty hand in the founding of this nation. Solemn but elegant and beautiful account
