Storyline is interesting. The characters and dialogue are not interesting or entertaining.
Lead female 20 year old Kelly Gray is a photographer specializing in nature pictures. She also is an obnoxious, whining drama queen with no common sense. Breaking up with her boyfriend, she takes a baseball bat to his car. Then is surprised to find out it is illegal?
Heading out of town to take pictures she barely avoids hitting a hiker with her car. The contents of his backpack scatter across the road. She refuses to stop to apologize and help pick up his belongings.
No desire to continue this story. I may be interested in other works by this author.
Remember this is my personal opinion and does not reflect on the author.
She finds Jimmy Bob a strange mixture. He’s a kind and good-natured soul who’ll try to prevent her from injury one minute, while he exhibits questionable and potentially dangerous behavior the next. Survival in the remote woodlands requires total dependence on him. Read Redneck Romance and watch Kelly stumble and bumble her way from one area to the other and experience her encounter with Jimmy Bob’s kinfolk. Kelly and her stuffy upper crust mother eventually learn that romance often begins in the least likely place. Eventually they realize it only takes two people to notice the spontaneous ignition of love’s magic spark.
