1. Lack of extra keys and functions. But then again you get what you pay for.
2. The keyboard is a smear magnet just resting yours hands and fingers on it will leave smears on it.
3. The key caps all of them are flat so it's hard to differentiate different keys when typing really fast or gaming making you make mistakes, it takes a while to get use to this type of keyboard if you're use to using a regular full mechanical keyboard with normal key caps. The height difference will decrease your typing speed or gaming response until you get use to it if you get use to it. Some people will not like this keyboard at all due to the flat keys.
I could never stand the clackiness of my mechanical keyboards. They’re such a distraction from conference calls where I both speak and type constantly (many times simultaneously.)
I gave up and finally decided to get a quiet keyboard that I could use and not mute myself every few seconds. My desires were as follows:
- QUIET
- Full-size with 10 key
- Lit with different brightness
- RGB with multiple effects
- Easy to clean
- Wireless
This keyboard, received yesterday, is my 3rd try at getting what I want. It does not hit all my categories (I can compromise, but don’t tell my husband). The ones it does hit, seem to be spot on.
Pros:
QUIETNESS: It delivers more than I’d hoped. This is the quietest full-size keyboard I’ve ever had. They keys barely register the tick of my nails (just my natural nails since working from home), there is no clack from the key itself. I type directly next to my Jabra speakerphone and haven’t had to make any apologies at all on the conference calls during which I’ve used it.
FULL-SIZE: Yep. All the keys are there. Not a one is missing!
LIT: All the keys light up. The larger keys’ lighting does fade at the edges (CAPS, Space, 0) as some other reviewers have mentioned but they’re bright enough that I don’t have to turn overhead lights on in the morning before I’ve had enough coffee in my system to deal with the day. The controls (Fn + [Insert, Home, PgUp, Delete, End, PgDn, Up, Dwn, Left, Right]) are explained with the manual. As others have stated, the LEDs signifying Number Lock, CAPS lock, and Window lock are all solid red. I don’t mind that those LEDs are static. That’s normal with most keyboards.
Cons:
NOT EASY-to-CLEAN: Already seeing some stuff gathering under the keys (specifically dust particles and animal fur from my grumpy cat). I knew that would happen and realized prior to purchase I’d have to dust more often. Additionally, as you can see in the photo, oils from my hands are collecting on the wrist pad, Space key, home row, and Enter key. I did a quick wipe down before the photo and it didn’t come off. That’s annoying.
NOT WIRELESS: Also knew this before purchase. This was my biggest compromise. I have too many cords across my desk already but I’ve resigned myself to dealing with it.
Additional (personal preference) issues:
Red is fine but not my favorite color. It traditionally signifies anger and passion, two things I generate well enough on my own at work without a trigger. I’ll probably end up painting the red stripe black or some calming color.
The Enter key is tall, not wide. This is a change from all my other keyboards, of which I’ve had plenty. I keep typing “\” when I try to send a command, send a text, or return carriage to a new line.
Key pressure and strike angles will take a while to become familiar. They’re not “worse” than a mechanical, just “different.”
I do have concerns that the keys will deteriorate over time. I’m very hard on keys (my home row bumps on F and J normally wear down to tiny nubs). I read one review that indicates the black paint will eventually wear down to where you can no longer see the letters. I don’t necessarily NEED to see keys when I type, but I like the aesthetic. If/when my letters disappear, I’ll be on the search for a keyboard once again. I’ll try to remember to update this review at that time.
For gamers: I realize the manufacturer has advertised this as a gaming keyboard. I don’t game so cannot really comment on its ghosting function or overall game effectiveness. My boss and I are taking an intro the Python course which has us building the game Pong, but that’s entirely unhelpful to actual gamers. The Up and Down arrows work just fine!
None of the Cons are enough to make me regret this purchase. I’m pleased enough with it to keep it until it breaks.

I've always been willing to pay higher prices for these types of keyboards, but for the longest time, they never really existed. I started on the Apple keyboard. While those keyboards are super sleek and built to last, they aren't backlit. Eventually, I found the Cougar 200k keyboard. It was backlit and built with gamers in mind. It was also super cheap. Sadly, they were eventually discontinued, to my knowledge.
About 3 years ago, when some of my Cougar keys started sticking, I had to search for a new keyboard. I came across this Redragon K502 model and decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised when I got it in that it had a sleeker look and feel to it versus the Cougar 200k and felt more durable as well. The keyboard did very, very well for me over the 3 years I've owned it. Sadly, some of the keys are getting so worn that the letters are getting worn off the keys and light is bleeding through them more and more. I could honestly live with that, but recently the W and enter keys started to get a little wobbly/loose and would also get stuck on occasion. I wasn't really all that upset about it. For $25 and taking a beating over 3 years? Totally worth it!
Fast forward to today, I've been using my new Redragon replacement and it feels just as good as my old one. However, I wanted to warn everyone of one minor edge case annoyance that plagues me now. With the old model, when you plugged the keyboard in, you would get the solid red color. I felt that was nice since it matched Redragon's theming. However, the new model starts in a multi-colored blinking mode that is too obnoxious for my taste. Given the price point of this keyboard, it's pretty barebones features-wise in that it doesn't save your last-used color to memory or software since it's plug and play. While this won't be an issue for most folks, it is for me. I used a USB switcher for convenience to swap between my main gaming and work PCs and my secondary streaming PC. Every time I switch between the two PCs, the keyboard resets to the blinking rainbow mode. So now, I have to hold the FN key and press home twice to get to the solid red color.
Eventually it'll become muscle memory, but I feel that the new change to their keyboards is a bit of a downgrade. They've also changed the layout and functionality of their keys in the new version. Before, you would just tap a button on the keyboard that looked like a little light bulb to get to the color you wanted. Now, you have to hold the function key and press one of the six keys to get the lighting function you want (insert, home, page up, page down, delete, and end keys). While it's an upgrade having all these new color options, if you liked the simple single color functionality that was there before, well, just be prepared for the change.
With all that being said, I wanted to give this keyboard a 5/5, but this new change in button layout, keyboard functionality, and changes to the RGB color functionality, I have to knock a star off. I'm still going to keep this keyboard and I'm sure it'll last me quite a few years. I highly recommend this keyboard for its price point and features! If you want a backlit keyboard with more of that laptop lower profile style, this is the keyboard for you!
Top reviews from other countries

1. RGB works
2. Keyboard has a nice matte finish
3. The keys are soft to press and overall responsive
4. The logo is nice addition
5. Price - and it was a lesson (dont buy cheap)
Cons:
1. The size of the keys is unconventional, i play CS GO and when replacing my lenovo keyboard assumed that the manufacturer will follow standards prevalent. But herein the keys are larger than normal which resulted in me having to change my game play (cannot duck anymore or in the middle of a busy firefight i end up on my windows desktop page!)
2. Return policy of Amazon requires the product to be defective, damaged or not functioning. Hence i cannot replace this useless piece of junk because Amazon is more than happy to ship this back to me, albeit in a new packaging. When your product isnt in line with the prevalent manufacturing standards you (Amazon) need to have an option to return the product and for pete's sake just provide store credit if not a refund.
Very disappointed Amazon.
3.

I bought it in January of 2017 for ₹2000. Since then this keyboard has gone through a lot of torture. I play games a lot and many times I would hit the keys brutally during intense moments (READ RAGING). Nothing happened to it though. During it's service, it had tea/water/cold drinks spilled on it multiple times. Cleaning the keyboard and drying it was more than enough to get back at playing. The RGB Light intensity didn't reduce over the years. The Blue light is exactly the same as that of Logitech so it paired well with my G300S and G402. The Red is the same as that of the fans of my case so it was a match there too.
Here are some of the PROS
The FN Keys are really handy along with swappable "WASD" and ARROW KEYS.
The Wristrest is big enough and although made of plastic does not irritate the skin.
It's a silent,"laptop like" keys. Great for late night gaming.
The keys are spaced apart perfectly FOR MY HAND SIZE. So no fatigue over long durations.
But it has a few CONS too.
Some of the keys (Spacebar, Backspace, etc) are not completely lit and it looks kind of bad but they are not easily noticeable.
The RED BAND along the bottom stands out when the keyboard lights up in some other color.
The Numbers in the NUMPAD never worked for me. Might be a software problem.
To conclude, I would say that if you are not head over heels for Mechanical or "Mechanical Feel" keyboards, this is a good and durable keyboard.

BUT.
I'm currently writing this review with the K502 and I must say I'm a tad disappointed. If you want a silent keyboard, yes, it's the perfect model for you. But if you're a fast typer like me, you will not like to go back on every phrase to add the letter that didn't hit on the first press of a key. Somebody mentioned how quickly dirty it becomes and yes, it's pretty accurate to say so. There is at least one fingerprint on every inch of the keyboard after only ten minutes of use.
Just to emphasize on the 'keys don't hit on the first try', here's a message written WITHOUT me going back to add missing letters:
I'm trying so ard to show you that some lettes are missing without throwing a it. There is a ceramic skull on y desk and two funko pops. One is Stitch and te other is Braum rom league o legends. I' planning to watch a movie with my roommate later tonight. I like tht the keyboard is silent but is it worth stopping and erasing everything I write every second? I kinda miss my loud mechanical keyboard now. aybe I, too picky?
So far, I can tell that F and M are going to be a problem. I might be sending the keyboard back. (I had to re-add three letters to that sentence alone).
Anyway. I guess I got what I paid for :/

Delivery of package was good. I recieved the box a bit crumpled. I am giving it a 3 star

The lighting is inconsistent on the keys, such as the Windows key, which is dimmer than the other keys, and looks especially bad on the spacebar where only the very edges and centre are illuminated. The number keys from the middle to right and the function keys, as well as some others, have light escaping from beneath the key, which also varies from key to key.
Some special functions such as the ability to increase how quickly a key is registered when held down, the ability to lock the Windows key so that you don't accidentally press it while gaming and the ability to swap the WASD and arrow keys around (so that the arrow keys are WASD and the WASD keys are the arrow keys) are nice to have.
The cable is braided, which goes well with my Redragon mouse which has the same braided cable.
Overall, I am satisfied with the keyboard but it definitely has it's flaws. If these flaws don't bother you that much then this is an amazing keyboard that will most likely satisfy your needs.
