I only have one problem I wish they would consider looking into. The soles (specifically the heal) wear out quickly for me. The wear is extreme, up to 1/2 an inch of sole wears away on one side, making it very lop-sided and making walking difficult, so these sneakers must be replaced often. Sole repair is not possible. I brought them to many shoe repair shops and no one will touch it. The sole wears on the outer left heal because I have a tendency to roll my foot that way and lean that way. But for the price and the profit Reebok gets on these sneakers I feel the sole should be stronger. I wore them when I was 150 pounds and when I was 325 pounds and every day in between, and no matter how much I weigh the heal wears out in about 4-8 months of daily use. It is for this reason I cannot give them a better rating. And I can say that if I ever found a sneaker as comfortable but with stronger soles I'd switch, but in 30 years nothing has been as comfortable as these.
UPDATE: The last pair I ordered and received was a few weeks ago (March/April 2011), order filled by Marcus Uniforms. There was a bump on the inside of the left shoe which made it painful to wear. I've returned them to Marcus and I'm waiting for my refund (I'll update this and let you know how they handled the refund). I will order again, but not from Marcus because I do not want to get the new pair from the same "batch" because there may possibly be an issue with all from that batch. I'll update once I get my new pair. This does happen now and then. I buy these sneakers 2-3 times a year and over 30 years I have bought a few pair that had to be returned. But as I said before, they are the most comfortable sneakers I've ever worn so I put up with the ocassional problems.
UPDATE: As of the summer of 2011 I found the heals of these sneakers were wearing down too quickly. I have now changed my previous 4 star rating to 3 stars. My last pair purchased in the spring wore out after only a few months with very little time on my feet. To be honest I do not know if they are using a cheaper, inferior material for the soles or if the wear is due to my weight (about 325 lbs), or both, but my feelings are if your sneakers can only be used by people of a certain weight that information should be given during the time of purchase, so those of us who weigh more don't waste our money. After 30 years I've now switched to a different brand, Nike Women's T-Lite VIII:Nike Women' s T-Lite VIII Leather. I have been wearing my first pair of Nike Women's T-Lite VIII for about 4 months and see no wear in the soles or heal at all. I will post a full review of my new Nike sneakers on the Amazon pages that sell it.
Marcus Uniforms is outstanding! I ordered on the 9th and had by the 12th (standard shipping).
Reebok's are always true to size, as well. If you are looking for good athletic shoes -- here they are, ladies!
They're great for running, brisk walking, and just "knocking around". And, since they are all white, they pretty much go with anything.
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Reeboks Women's Classic sneakers to everyone. Once you give them try, you'll never have to search for another brand again!
I wrote a review and was rejected because Reebok's phone number was it. Amazon, I wish you had returned my original so that I could amend it.
The gist is that there shoes are NOT leather. See Reebok's response to my query.
