Reebok was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes.

Here's the major catch! They only last about 3-4 months before the right shoe gets a flat and the aircushion no longer works. I've literally been through at least 30+ consecutive pairs, and it is always the right shoe that goes flat first, and after a very short period.
Ive concluded that this is no accident!
It's not a coincidence!
It is done purely on purpose, because they know how supreme this model reins over all others!
I will keep buying them because they are the best shoe for my circumstance, Bare None!
Just pisses me off that they have adopted the walmart fallapart business model to guarantee a consistent future demand!
C'mon Reebok! You can do better and increase your loyal buyer base by not building in the self destruct mode. Your shoes in the early 00's did not do this, so i know you're doing it on purpose!
Update 11/2/13: After a couple months the air bladder in the right sneaker of this pair has now developed an air leak and has gone flat. So this pair didn't even last 6 months months like the last 2 pairs had. I could find no punctures or evidence of the air bladder being pierced on the bottom of the sneaker as the bottoms don't even show hardly a sign of wear. Not buying the DMX Max walking shoe any more, will move on to a different series or brand where the air bladder is fully covered by the sole of the sneaker. Guess Reebok kept trying to figure out how to cheapen the product over the years where it's so cheap now, it just doesn't last.
These ones might be harder to get a leak.. I hope so..but the sole doesn't look much different.
Hope this helps others..
As for the stars... I was between 3 and 4 stars..
I do not recommend them. On ceramic tile floors they are extremely slippery, like being on ice, and unsafe.
My problem was that I need a lot of padding under the ball of the foot, and these shoes did not provide quite enough. I wore them around the house for a few days, but it just wasn't sufficient.
I ended up with the Nike Air Monarch, which is a very similar shoe in looks, fit, and price, but it has a bit more padding where I need it.
If you would like to send me a different pair of shoes, same brand and style, it would be agreeable with me. You could cancel the refund.
