Reebok was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes.

The size is a bit bigger than normal though. I've bought nothing but Reebok Zigs the past couple of years, and this is the first time the shoe has been a bit bigger. Keep that in mind and go a half size down.
Other than that, great shoe. The size gaff is the only reason it's not a 5 star.
I bought a new insole(the cushioning part) because for something that would work better on my incredibly flat feet.
The main problem I had was that I pulled to hard while lacing the shoe up and one of the laces broke.
In spite of that, my running distance has improved greatly and my weight has dropped. I have to think it was in part because of this shoe. It's light and solid. Love it.
For running I normally wear New Balance Minimus MT20BC2 Trail Barefoot Trainer, which are very 'close-to-the-ground' running shoes. I also wear New Balance Minimus 1010 Trail which provide a little more support when I need it. I wanted something with more support as sometimes the lack thereof can take it's toll but didn't want them overly bulky. These fit and look great. Thinking of getting another pair before I can't find them anymore. The shoes look bulkier on the online picture than they are in real-life. If you've owned Zig shoes before these are fairly comparable, with better upgrades on material than previous Zig versions I've owned.
