Dress to impress with the Princess
Reebok was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes.

accommodating to my situation...KUDOS! ) as for the "pleather"...yes, I'd be MOST disappointed if these were NOT the first time I'd owned a pair, and they were glove soft leather all the other times...however, these are still wonderful feeling shoes for the cost, they do not have a heel that irritates a pre-existing low back injury that doesn't allow me to wear much more than Birkenstocks.
I needed a black, closed-toed no-nonsense shoe. For those who need extra support, I suggest purchasing those arch inserts, or other such orthotics, because it's true, they'res no real support. The heel cup is indeed supportive, and padded very nicely. I just wore them for nearly 6 hours on my feet, straight from the box, no complaints what so ever! The plastic crocs that I'd been wearing were not only painful, but the little nubs were eating holes in my good socks!! These shoes are indeed a welcome change, indeed. I truly hope this review helps, as yes, they do run very narrow, but length of shoe seems typical. Enjoy!
I was happy to try the shoes, and ordered a wide size after reading reviews about them being narrow. I have narrow feet but once got stuck with a pair of Keds sneakers I couldn't wear due to the extreme narrow size. So I got the Reeboks and was able to get them on, but they definitely run small. I could've used a half size up. And wide width on my narrow feet are snug...these do not feel wide at all. The shoes for some reason have a lumpy appearance, like they were made oddly. They are not shaped as nice as the older models. My mother liked the way they looked and wanted a pair until I told her they run small.
I think I will keep them for the fall and winter. Not sure they will be comfortable in hot weather.
UPDATE: I had to return them. The toe box part of the shoe was too tight. I only wore them for about 10 minutes and I felt the shoes rubbing my toes. I am sure they would cause blisters if worn for a long time.
When I buy these in the stores I always get the wide and they are always 7 1/2 or 8.
So naturally here I ordered the eight wide, and to my disappointment they are extremely small.
I match them up to my size 8 wide which I have, that are about four years old. They fall short about an inch.
That is a huge difference in sizing so I'm not sure what's up with Reebok but The size is here is definitely about a full size smaller. So beware when you purchase.
As for quality they're the same shoes that I've always worn that you'll get a lifetime out of.
