Great harness for strong pullers; however, for my 45 lb dogs, I prefer the Puppia harness because it is easier to get on quickly in the morning.
The Puppia, you just need to slip over there head, then take the connector under them and wrap it around their chest, through a loop and snap in place.
This is the pink harness on the top in the picture.
The Rogz Utility Harness you have to get them to step both their paws into the areas and then pull it up and snap it together on top of there back. If your dog's are calm, this will work fine. If they are excited, it may be a pain. This is all heavy duty strap and I would trust this harness to airlift my dog! LoL This is the yellow and purple harnesses in the lower middle of the picture.
Pros: Fairly easy to get on unless you have an excited dog. Very heavy duty.
Cons: if your dog can't sit still as you get ready for a walk, this will be tough to get on.
The pink's a lovely colour - I usually avoid all pink for dogs, but I love this and am now considering a matching leash. The reflective stripes can feel a bit sharp - I ended up having to snip the ends in a few places. Some of the glue used to seal the ends can be a bit sharp too.
One tip : at first I had trouble working out which strap was top and bottom, as the two straps are adjusted slightly differently to fit infront and behind her shoulders. Even though it has the Rogz label which fits on the left, I ended up using a Sharpie to write "L TOP" along the upper strap where the left paw goes, and it makes it much easier - I just lay it on the floor so I see L TOP and she puts her paws in the right way. The straps can twist around a bit too, so make sure the buckles face out and not against the dog's fur.
The only downside is that the centre strap is not ideal for car use - in the state of Australia where I live, by law dogs must be restrained in vehicles. I hate the idea of having the car harness, then switching to a walking harness (car harness is too heavy and cumbersome for walking), then back to the car harness, so I have been using this one in the car. I may try to insert some detachable thicker padding along the middle to make it more suitable for the car.
The advantages of a harness is my dog pulls less but I have a thick 1.5in collar (I would recommend a 2in collar for pitbull owners) that makes her choke and cough a lot less. Collars are better because even the nylon ones don't make my dog bleed!
I'm giving this two stars instead of one because the design is good. Some harnesses have the snap as the weak spot but although this has a plastic snap the design manages to avoid making it a weak spot. The middle strap is also adjustable. The ones in petco are not adjustable on the middle strap.
I decided to use this harness because I like how they fit on the dog. They seem comfortable and I love that they have reflective lines (really thick thread near both edges of the nylon strips /ribbons. )
Because I like this particular harness, I decided to stick with this harness in all of it's sizes for consistency, so he is trained to step in and wait for the snap near the shoulder blades and wait for the leash to be hooked up.
Don't leave this on your growing puppy over night or through out the day! Don't leave any harness on over night or all day long! They're growing SO fast that I've had to expand a harness over 1" in size during the day... imagine how much that would hurt, if you just left it on and he was growing... and imagine the damage to his bones!
Also, the practice going in and out of it is good for your puppy :) (USE TREATS!)
This is durable! However, a strong chewer can chew through this, so remember to discourage chewing. My Golden is a chew-wuss :) So, he's nom'd it, and left no damage... The boxer/coon hound, however, would've chewed through it in a few noms!

Labradorite and the media fitted fine.
Update* after using it for a month and my dog growing I find it's very tight on him even when you stretch the size because only the stomach and legs/chest stretch not around the back so it was too tight even though he is small enough it should fit him for awhile yet. Seems dumb to not be able to stretch the back part. I wouldn't recommend it.
Wish there was something between the smaller one and this one. I like the idea of securing him by the body rather than the neck.
