The Mittens arrived in a few days which was a very nice surprise, more than adequately packaged, and in pristine new condition. The fit, finish, and quality of the product is excellent. There was not a thread out of place or a loose end anywhere. The body fit is exactly as stated. In this case the X-Large fit exactly as I had anticipated using a glove liner. Sizing runs true to industry standard. When I received them I gave them an application of waterproofing spray to help with being water repellent. They are warm, they fit as they should, and no matter if it were chasing the dogs in the snow or throwing snowballs they did not get as wet as I would have guessed. I am going to get more of these to keep in my backpacking gear.

XL very small sized, very narrow

I got these for cold weather use, XL size. These are incredibly small. For a mitten, this is very oddly proportioned as well.

There isn't much length to the mitten (palm to finger), if you grab something and squeeze, the mitten is pulling up your wrist.

I don't see at all how people are claiming they wear thin neoprene gloves as well with these.

It's as if these were left in a dryer to shrink.

Disappointing as I waited longer than Amazon suggested I needed to for them to arrive (confirmation not received by amazon by seller)

First off, these mitts are great. Warm, water beads up on the surface unless you rub it in, and very cozy comfortable inside. BUT buy big! Granted, I have BIG hands, so I ordered XL. I wish they'd had a size larger. If they did I'd return these and order those. I was hoping to wear another pair of light gloves underneath these -- not happening. Couldn't even get my whole hand in with gloves on too. NBD, unless my hands freeze snowblowing. WHY don't they make a pair of mitts just for that? Hopefully these won't compress the way snowmobiling gloves do and freeze my fingers in five minutes.

In North Texas it can get coldish. Maybe the 20s. The wind can be stiff out of the north. Sometimes gloves or mittens with a plastic outer layer can conduct the cold right on through. These gloves laugh at Texas. I actually bought them to wear walking in Colorado over Christmas. Not that cold there this winter. RefrigiWear also makes liner gloves that are better than silk liners. They (the liner gloves) do work with my cell phone and they provide much more warmth than my silk liners. These mittens will retain whatever warmth you have in your hands until you get the blood flowing and if you are outside in cold weather they will keep the cold out. They have a cuff so you are going to want to have a coat with a draw strap around the wrist. Maybe somebody makes better mittens. But I doubt it. I know I sound like I work there, but I don't.

They are a little on the small size for being XL. I have a fairly large hand but maybe more between my thumb and 1st finger, which makes me buy XL gloves. Don't misunderstand me these still fit quite well but I could still use a little extra length in the main part of the mitten. I haven't worn them for long so I can't tell as yet on how warm they will keep my fingers, which seem to get colder quicker these days. I am not sure about the waterproofness of these mittens were but I have also add 3 coats of waterproof to them already. I liked them so much I ordered a pair for a friend, who will be using them for Ice Fishing!

Bought these for a ski trip when the forecasted temps took a last-minute nosedive. Ordered according to the size chart included in the photos, 9.5-inch circumference = XL, but they are quite big. It ended up being fine but if I didn't have to use them the day after I got them I would have returned for a L .

They also shed a bit when first using them, so may be worth some preemptive rubbing to get that off. after a day of skiing and being in and out of the snow the shedding had stopped.

I always read some of the negative reviews and was a little worried by some of the comments about being too stiff or not warm enough. I’ve used them 3 times now to plow and shovel. I had no problems driving my ATV and shoveling with these on and they were very warm and comfortable. I couldn’t be more satisfied. My hands are usually large size but I measured and came in between large and extra large. I got XL because I didn’t want them to be tight and XL fit perfectly. They also have just enough room left to add my thin glove liners if we get another polar vortex.
