Top Customer Reviews
When the product came in, the quality of it was amazing. A fair amount of cushion with thick interior mesh. Not very breathable, but it's meant to keep your knee warm for compression. I definitely recommend using their sizing chart off the website [...] because I think it's different from what it says on the amazon sizing. They recommend you measure the circumference of your leg about 10cm below your patella. I have large thighs so I went with what my knee sizing. I measured out 42cm and ordered the XL. But if you want a tighter compression, I recommend going a size down. Since I was using it for sports and various moving workouts, I didn't want it too tight, or the compression will begin to irritate my leg.
Overall, this is a great knee sleeve and the best I've ever used. I ordered two and haven't regret it since. Well worth the money.
A size Large fits pretty well on me - I'm 6'2, 200lbs with pretty big thighs, but small calves. The sleeve is tight around my quads, but a little looser around my calves (but not enough to be an issue). The sleeves really keep the joint warm and compressed. I'm not typically the kind of person who likes to feel warm and compressed, but I will make every exception for the Rehbands. Squatting feels so much better than it ever had before, no discomfort at all. If you are on the line about purchasing these, I would urge you to take a leap of faith - you won't be disappointed.
Lots of question about this. It is not always recommended to get a size smaller from your measurement. Like me, I am a 5"8 200lbs heavy squatter, my quads are big, while I have a normal calves. My measurement around straight knee size is a little over 39 cm. I should have wear a Large. And yes, in my case ( Large quads, normal calves ) = Buy a large. I used to try on the Medium and it fit my knee and calves. But very very tightened my quad. It created a uncomfortable because it was too tight.
So If you are a GIRL or a guy with normal quad, definitely go with 1 SIZE SMALLER than your measurement !
If you are a person with big quad, go with the MEASUREMENT SIZE. Don't buy a size smaller ( Too tight = Uncomfortable ) !
This product is made of 100% Neoprene foam, 100% Polyamide cover and lining. It gives a nice stretch and little re-bounce when doing squat, leg press... It WILL stretch a little over time and it CAN stretch. Very comfortable. You can either wash it by hand or washing machine but PLEASE LET AIR DRY!
You will need a pair so it will be around $90. It seems pricey to some of you but remember there will be a reason why it s too pricey. This will last for a long long long time. One of my friend told he have been using it for 5 years and half and it still works great. You probably don't want to spend $30 $40 for a pair of normal knee sleeves and replace them 2 3 times a year. However it is your choice. But use common senses
4. REASONABLE & WHO CAN USE IT
There is a reason why so many power lifters, world strong men, and Olympic lifters use and recommend them. By saying this, does not mean that a normal person is not suitable. Everyone can use this. I mean EVERYONE. From a high school sport players to a heavy weight lifter woman, or a world class bodybuilder. It can also help healing process after injury surgeons. Help reduce impact to you knees if you have a knees problems. SO, as long as you need a great support for your knees and keep them warm to prevent injury, or to feel safety, or need a mental support for your workout, this is for you. However, it is recommended that using these sleeves for 2 to 3 hrs of activity only. Because it s Neoprene.
There is also a reason why these products get straight 5 stars over hundreds people rating. :)
So, it is your choice. However, You won't be disappointing on these knee sleeves investment for your life.
Knee wraps - are you going super heavy? Use them. For any other circumstance which includes inflating your precious ego, using them out of habit, using them to hide a knee injury, etc., do not use them. You are doing yourself and your legs and your knees no service.
Knee sleeves - in general far better for using on a regular training basis. They don't artificially boost squat totals, but do keep the joint warm and provide mild support. Do not confuse them with full-blown knee wraps though. I prefer knee sleeves over knee wraps because I have noticed a ton of more quad and hamstring development when ditching knee wraps, reducing the weight, and just using knee sleeves.
Rehband knee sleeves: the best knee sleeves I have ever owned. These in particular are great because of the thickness. For those tearing them apart, you ordered a size too small or are too rough on the sleeves. They are very durable and I have put them through the washing machine several times (NEVER THE DRYER).
Uses: squats of any type, deadlifts if you don't like hitting your knees with the bar.
