I think I'm done with this series but honestly don't know how I made it to book 3. Like the last book, the characters in this book were incredibly immature and selfish. Example from this book- Jamey has to go to jail and Peyton is mad at him. What does she tell him? "I hope you get raped in the a**!"!!! Wow, lovely.
The stilted dialog really bothered me - sometimes the characters would say "ain't", sometimes they wouldn't. Unfortunately it really stood out and I couldn't overlook it. The constant back-and-forth between Peyton and Jamey got old in chapter 1. Plus I didn't like how wishy-washy Peyton was - pathetic! There wasn't much I can recommend about this book, unfortunately.

It was ok...after book 4 in this series I was expecting a lot more. The book felt like it was on a continuous loop of the same thing from start to end...Jamey changed way to fast and Peyton who usually seemed so strong seemed weak...I liked Wayne he was a great addition to the mix. This book could have had so much more depth and story that just wasn't there. Looking forward to reading Parker's story...I will buy it like I do all Jenn Foors books!

Really love this series and Jennifer's writing , but this ones plot was a little thin and redundant . Note: ****** PLEASE, Jennifer, edit your books for grammar and missing words or incorrect words. All of your books have this problem which I have overlooked but this book was the worst. You have even used the wrong characters names at the wrong times in other books. Just have a friend read it first. Hell, I would do it for you.

I'm never disappointed with a Jennifer Foor book. I think this was my third in a row and I still have a few more to go! This one didn't have near as many tears as some, but the humor, frustration, and passion were all there! And now a bit about the story...

This book focused on Peyton and Jamey. He would say they were friends with benefits, but she wanted more and he hadn't seen anyone else in the past year, but wouldn't commit. The path to commitment was a long one and it involved some jail time, would Jamey be able to do it?

Favorite passages:
- I swear, sometimes he used more hairspray than I did.
- More lies to add to the pile. Next I would be sent to jail for being a con-artist. My mother would be so proud.
- “Then make amends with your boyfriend. Just know that if I find out he’s cheatin’ I’m going to have his balls removed with a steak knife.”

Ugh, I couldn't get over how stupid Peyton is to be with Jayme! He never committed to her and yet she kept being with him for 2 years hoping he would change. He slept with other girls in the beginning, but I wouldn't call it cheating since he never promised to be faithful/monogamous. She's the one who stuck around knowing he wasn't serious about her. She was so weak to put up with Jayme's lack of commitment. She eventually realized she deserved better than Jayme's refusal to commit, then cave and go back to Jayme. Fortunately for her, Jayme finally wised up. I gave this book 2 stars because I hate wishy washy women.

I liked this story a lot as I have the other stories in the series. I gave it only 3 stars because of the over abundance of grammatical errors. It's almost as if we are reading a first draft. If I was the author I would be embarrassed to send my work to the public like this.

A little realization goes a long way. If both Peyton and Jamey would have been brutally honest from the beginning, then half of their complications wouldn't even have occurred. I love how the story ends, but I think Jamey should have manned up a lot sooner.

Jamey is so stuck on himself that the thought of his girl Peyton not wanting him was unimaginable. So when Peyton had finally had enough, Jamey thought it would be easy to move on. Little did he know his deeply buried feelings were about to make headway full force. The problem now is convincing Peyton and their families that his love is genuine.
