Roberta Beach Jacobson is an American humorist who is drawn to the magic of words–poetry, puzzles, song lyrics, short stories, and stand-up comedy.
An advocate of Positive Psychology, Jan specializes in encouraging people to learn to adopt a much more positive attitude, and to achieve what they desire in life.
At the age of 10, Jan had moved to Scotland with her mother and sister from New York State. By the time she was 22, she had been thrown out of university after her first year, and had spent the next 4 years working as a shop assistant and clerk. The next 9 years were spent in the Civil Service doing a job that she was over-qualified to do. The reality was that Jan was going nowhere fast in life.
By 1995, she decided to put all of her non-achievement years behind her to concentrate on making the most of her strengths and talents. In 1998, she began her career as a Data Networks Engineer, having been awarded her Mathematics degree and various networking qualifications.
Early in 2008, Jan realized her true calling in life was to teach others to make the most of their God-given gifts and talents to make a real difference in their lives and in the lives of others.
Jan is a Master NLP Practitioner, and is currently creating digital training courses and workshops to promote her "DESIRE" Model of Achievement.
She is a recognized inspirational author and speaker, and has written numerous articles on Positive Thinking and Achievement. "The Positive Achiever - 11 Essentials to Achieve the Success You Deserve" is her first book.

Libby Cudmore worked in video stores, bookstores and temp agencies before settling down in Upstate New York to write. THE BIG REWIND is her first novel, and her short stories have appeared in PANK, The Stoneslide Corrective, The Big Click, Big Lucks, the HANZAI JAPAN anthology and others. She makes all her own writing journals and has a halfway-decent record collection.
