You know those books that after you're finished reading, it's ALL you can think about once it's over? Reeling in all the emotions and amazing characters. Relinquished is that book I was thinking about days after I finished it.

What an outstanding, compelling book full of angst and packed of mystery. Which is my favorite type of read.

Jules, sweet Holden, and HOT Dante were amazing throughout this story. I almost thought it would turn into a love triangle with how Dante acted towards Jules and Holdens relationship, but it never did.

All throughout the story, I felt so bad for Jules. No body should ever have to go through things like she did, and I'm grateful for Holden for coming into her life when he did and help her build up that trust, and self confidence once again. It was a beautiful relationship to read.

Of course there's something that happens and you're left feeling so empty, like, what the heck just happened? There's no way that just happened! But the mystery to the story is what kept my attention and right on the tip of my toes until the very last page.

I loved and devoured this book and I can't wait to read more of K.A. Hunter's stories.

****Received and ARC in exchange for an honest review****
5++++ stars!!!!
This story has it all...drama, suspense, angst, love, hate...I absolutely LOVED it!!! The author wrote this under a pen name and it is unlike any of her other books (which are just as good but in a different way)! I really don't think I have read another book like this. You will feel for Jules and all she has been through and rooting for her throughout the whole book! Holden, well, I just fell in love with him! He truly is a great guy with a good heart who just wants to protect Jules! Dante, you will hate to like him, but he grows in you once you figure out what he is all about. You may just even fall in love with him too! This story has twists and turns you probably won't see coming. I just...wow...don't even know what else to say except that it is definitely one of my favorite books so far this year and for those of you who have yet to read it...I am JEALOUS! This is one of those books that you wish you could go back and read again for the first time!!!

My mouth is still hanging open after finishing this epic romantic suspense thriller! From the very beginning of this story, I was on the edge of my seat and could imagine the horror that Jules went through as she battled to survive the foster care system and reach adulthood. The detailed descriptions of the f'ed up life that Jules leads made my heart hurt for her. I found myself cheering her on through the entire book, hoping that she would eventually find a way out of her cursed existence and be able to enjoy a better life. I loved Holden and Dante, the two brothers who come into Jules' life and turn it upside down. There were so many twists and turns through this gritty tale that kept me guessing and made my heart stop more than once! I can't recommend this book enough! Such an amazing read!

Relinquished review- A Must Read
I just finished Relinquished by K.A. Hunter and I could not hurry fast enough to write my review. There are very few authors that could make me feel like I am part of the book. Hunter did not disappoint, I was a emotional wreck.
In Relinquished, Jules Donovan is a tough woman who had to be. With a tortured past and a childhood of being moved from one foster home to another, she always had the feeling of being watched. She called a bug infested motel home and took a job at a dive bar and that is where she meets Dante and Holden, the Riley brothers. A connection is made and for Jules, who never knew what it felt like to be loved or trusting anyone but herself. Finally, knows what it feels like to feel protected.
Dante, has a jerkiness about him that confused me. I literally wanted to sucker punch him ( he is big, so that would be the only way I could get a hit in) or give him a big kiss and hug. Why did he seem to know more about Jules and want to keep it a secret ?
Holden, I swoon just typing his name. I could feel his love radiate through every page that it sent goosebumps to my skin. His desire for affection or actual love making made me tremble and elevated my heart rate. His passion and love was perfectly written. Holden would do anything to protect the one he loves.

"Love isn't something to regret, Jules. Anything in life can destroy you, but I'd rather be so deeply affected by someone that I'm willing to fight against all odds for her than never experience it."

Relinquish is a romance suspense, K. A.

This really really sucks you in and gives you some really jawdropping moments. Jules has been through so so much. She is a survivor. The twists and turns and danger is just really just wow. I didn’t expect the craziness of the moments.

The characters have their own hidden strengths and don’t realize they are there. You feel throughout for Jules with her childhood. She survived so much only to be in danger still. Her guilt over Casey was misplaced and Sam was definitely not expected but really helped to create more of a tension packed book.

Holden was just so amazing. He was the most tender man and so loving. His way of getting Jules to trust him and open up so beautiful. And he respected her. Saw her as strong and beautiful. I loved how he began his relationship slowly with her. What happened to him in the end tore my heart up. Poor guy to have that bombshell laid on him.

Dante at times I wanted to hate I really really did. In the beginning his treatment of Jules was just horrible. He deserved to be smacked upside the head and it caused undue tension between him and Holden. As the secrets were revealed though you begin to see why he was a total douchecanoe at the beginning. He did redeem himself in the end and his love for his brother was amazing.

The danger that was constant kept you on your toes and so did the wonder as to why Dante was protecting Jules and what his dad’s reasoning was. When this is revealed just wow.

The writing memorizes you and brings you into the moments where you feel the emotions of the characters at the time the action is occurring. Having the POV of Jules and Dante is good but I would have liked to see more of Holden’s thoughts. So many great twists that keep you on your toes throughout this book.
