I think that the book tried to take on a little too much i.e. healthy eating, exercise, make-up advice, clothing advice, how to set up your home, giving parties, communication, career advice, recipes, etc. It might have been better if the focus was narrowed.
However, I have to acknowledge that I am not the target audience for this book and perhaps they prefer a more scattered approach.
I did enjoy the book. The parts that are good are very good. I like the tone of the book.
I love how Daphne spoke to her viewers as if she was sitting within the same room with them!
Once I started reading, I could not put it down!
I am a huge cookbook fan! However, I was fascinating that this book had so much more to offer than just recipes ..........thumbs up!
Thought she titled it Relish because it was going to be all about food. She explains the title and tries to get the reader to "relish" all the aspects of ones life rather then just getting through until the next day.
Appreciated all her hair and makeup tips and have been using coconut oil to cleanse my face since myy purchase.
Her recipes are healthfu but do require a trip to the grocery store or wholefoods to find the ingredients.
A very good and interesting read.
WOW, this is a great review and very true.
