aright so it starts off as a great story with a nice plot. This girl named Bella is trying to find the guy who killed her sister. As one does when this kind of thing comes up. Anyways, Bella, idk the reason, but she decides to go to the sketchy part of the town by her grandparents house. At night. Alone. sMaRtNeSs. So, she meets this guy. Rocco. Hes supposed to be the best looking guy shes ever seen on this godforsaken planet. As the story goes on, Bella and Rocco seem to enjoy each others company. Bella and him hang out in seceret, while she continues to search for this guy who killed her sister.
But Rocco doesnt know about the search bc Bella dooesnt want to talk about it. Rocco n Bella are basically together now. Anyways, its a fantastic book but its also sad bc rocco dies at the end. *sniffs* so yeah thats what i have to say bye.
I don't know how to start describing the story. It was one roller coaster ride. I was laughing at one point then started to feel anxious the next. It was all happy and promising until it wasn't. I haven't felt this strongly about this book for so long that I had a book hangover for days. Natasha ripped my heart off my chest, shredded it into bits and pieces and returned it with big pink bow and the knife still in it. I don't know how to move forward from it. It was full of angst, love and passion. The story was well written that I had forgotten all about the tiny bit of inconsistency at the start of the book. It was as real as it could be. You would want to devour all the details and story it offers.
Aside from having a disregard for her family, I may have liked Bella more than I care to admit. I've been raised to always, always put your family first so it was a cringe worthy moment when Bella doesn't feel that way. But living the way she did, who am I to judge. But I love her passion and dedication with what she thinks is right. It may not have been what was mine, but she pushed until she couldn't push more. Rocco on the other hand is someone to admire. I can't even think of how to put him into words to even give him justice. He was someone real. At least as close to reality as you can get. I loved that he tried even if he didn't want to.
I'd give this a whooping 5 stars. No questions about it. It mafe me feel do much more. The story made grip my phone so tight I thought it's going to break. I was even scrolling past the acknowledgements hoping there was miraculously a few more pages to mend my broken heart. There weren't.
There are very realistic family dynamics depicted in this story as Bella comes from a well off family and falls in love with the guy from the wrong side of town. There are some tough scenes and adult situations within, so reader please beware. I can't say enough how refreshing this story was to read, but I am a bit saddened by the ending, but it seems to fit this author's particular writing style of keeping the storyline realistic. I almost am wishing that there was a book 2 to follow this amazing read, that's how much I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this fast paced thriller to anybody in search of a great read with an amazing and interesting, heart pounding, keeps you on the edge of your seat type of read!
I fell in love with the hero, right away. The heroine I had a very hard time. She struggles with what she witnessed but I feel like she really was a spoiled princess and did not value the others around her, she seemed so angry and painted the others at fault. I never not liked a heroine before but she really got under my skin. I did enjoy the love and as arguing between the hero and heroine, they seemed to have great chemistry.
The reason I really had to rate this so low is because of how it ended. It doesnt sit right with me. I dont always need a HEA but the way this story ended, so abruptly and out of no where didn't sit right. I would of felt better if the ending lasted longer and more understanding.
I would of rated lower but I did enjoy the hero and how the author writes. This is my first book by the author.

Bella is a girl on a mission, she wants answers.
After finding her dead sisters diary she's hoping to find clues that will lead to her killer.
In her quest for justice she's led to the wrong side of town which isn't a safe place to be.
Whist there she comes face to face with Rocco the gorgeous but mysterious bad boy.
Rocco is a loner he's lived in the rough parts of town his whole life, he's streetwise and knows the area well. He knows the people too.
So when he spots a girl hanging around he immediately knows she doesn't belong.
He's drawn to her, but knows it's not safe so he tries to make her leave for her own safety.
Things aren't that simple for Bella she wants justice for her sister it has become an obsession to her, she can't rest until she gets closure. So getting close to the local bad boy may be her only hope of finding answers.
This was a fantastic story you can't help being swept along with these characters. I loved Bella she's a little firecracker with a great sense of humour and sarcasm. I loved her little quirks she cracked me up.
You just can't help but love Rocco he's such a strong character he doesn't get close to people and trust does not come easy for him.
That is until he meets Bella and she changes everything.
One things for sure these two meeting will change their lives forever, some might say it was fate who knows for sure.
Fantastic book with some OMFG!!! moments where you really want to slap a bitch. I never saw that end until it happened, my Jaw was on the floor.
It's one story that'll stay with me. I loved it. 💗
Usually I'll write a review pretty much straight after I finish reading but with Reliving Fate, I felt that needed a while to get my thoughts in order. I've not read a book that's made me feel like this, in quite a while and in my opinion, it's Natasha best book yet.
Right up until quite near the end of Reliving Fate, With the band was still my favourite Natasha Preston book but only just, then everything changed.
Bella finds her dead sister's diary and decide to try and find out exactly why she died. To do this she heads into the bad side of town and the first person she meets is Rocco. Despite feeling that they shouldn't be together, they find themselves drawn to each other.
I loved, loved, loved Reliving Fate, Bella and Rocco’s story. From the moment I started it, I found it very hard to put down and get on with life, I just wanted to keep reading it.
I found myself relating to Bella in parts as I don't always like to show too much emotion or like a fuss about things.
The way that Natasha writes the emotions between Bella and Rocco is simply breathtaking. I had so many favourite quotes, I almost felt that I was highlighting half the book. Bella and Rocco’s story is simply beautiful.
There is intrigue from the very beginning for various reasons, we know Bella's sister Celia was murdered twelve years ago add to this the strained relationship between her twin Olivia and her parents and you are already wondering why... why does Bella find it so difficult to fit into the family dynamics or better still she doesn't really want to... what is she hiding.
Bella is on a mission and nobody is going to stop her but why is she not telling her parents what she is doing, sneaking out and going to the wrong side of town is never good but she meets Rocco.
This brilliant storyline flows with such ease and the banter between Bella and Rocco even more so and as their friendship becomes something more you can only breath as sigh of relief because at least she has someone she is friendly with, however Rocco can't help wondering the real reason why Bella would want to keep showing up around this side of town. He knows Bella isn't telling him everything.
Gradually we start to get little hints, it's enough to keep us trying to work out what really happened but it's never enough, in between all of this there is still a little secrecy surrounding Rocco... not knowing his last hame and then all the business with the parents excepting him, we know that was always going to be a concern but Bella wasn't particularly worried not in the beginning anyway.
You are certainly kept second guessing add to that the constant feel of danger which Bella seems to find herself in.
There's a lot of finger pointing, you have your doubts and know it's only a matter of time before the inevitable happens.
Well it does but I like everyone else didn't anticipate the way this story would end... we now know everything but oh dear it comes at a price.!
I love how Natasha Preston changes things up, I think she can write pretty much anything the last book With the Band being proof of that as it was a music genre novel and there are never any grammar mistakes either.
Look forward to more.!
I was drawn into the story from the first chapter alone and i knew it was going to be a fab read.
This is the story of Bella whos big sister Celia was murdered 12 years ago... and she wants nothing more than to make the person responsible pay... even if it means putting herself at risk being at the wrong side of town.. but what she didnt count on was meeting Rocco.
Rocco was everything that she never knew she wanted... and Bella was everything that Rocco never knew he wanted either.
Absolutely loved these characters and just how well they acted together and how strong their bond is.
Twist turns angst emotions lies love and heart ache all the way through this story and i never wanted it to end.
Bella finds her sisters diary, her sister was murdered 12 years ago and Bella is determined to find out who it is that killed her.
It's fast paced, thought provoking and I didn't work out who the killer was which is great as normally I can work it out.
I would suggest people have a box of tissues to one side as you may need them.
Absolutely loved this book, highly recommend it although it does contains lots of adult themes such as sex, murder, drugs and mentions of prostitution.
