About the Author
David Rodgers received his Masters of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, one of the nation’s foremost regionally accredited universities focused on natural health. Prior to and concurrent with his degree program, David spent a large portion of ten years researching, analyzing, and synthesizing texts and research journals dealing with the effects that nutrition, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fatty acids, probiotics, phytochemicals, herbs, exercise, and lifestyle measures have on people’s health. Upon finding all of the above measures have profound effects on the body and specifically chronic disease, he decided to formalize his education and start a clinic known as the Nutrient Balance Center. In addition to natural hair loss and hair growth remedies, David specializes in helping people with Chronic Lyme Disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, lupus, and multiple sclerosis using all natural dietary, supplemental, and lifestyle measures. Side note: I had some questions about the different remedies and was able to email the author directly (email is in the book). He was very prompt with his replies and always gave me good advice.
It's written and structured exactly the way I wanted it to be. It contains the proposal, what scientific evidence it has, what the web community thinks about it, what the author's direct experience with it. It even contains the specific products to use (in terms of brands) and the ones used in scientific study or what people were reporting. And of course the recommended dosage and any side effects/contra indication if there's any.
Obviously not all recommendations would work for everyone since hair loss is a complex problem and the actual cause might differ between one individual to the next.
But this book is excellent - I really don't get the other 1 star review.
I am working on my fourth month following the directives from this book. For me weather these therapies help to strengthen your hair and stop hair loss is out of a question, my hair is also much more manageable right now. I've noticed a ton of regrowth of small colorless hairs on my crown where I was completely bald, the remaining challenge that I have is to be patient and wait to see if these can become terminal hair. But again these advices will provide with indisputable results to your hair health. I just wished I've had this information 10-12 years ago.
