Thank you for NOT making something happen at the homecoming dance or at Prom. I mean, I was assuming Joey or Mandi would be the ones to "out" Chris to the school. Joey was kind of a red herring and I'm not exactly sure why he was even in the story unless this is going to continued. There was quite a bit of humor, a few plays on the conventions on a story like this.
I did take some small offense at the treatment of male cheerleaders (myself being one and yes, I got all of the jokes in "Bring it On) but they were reseolved on the very next page. Now, a bassoon is an orchestra instrument...can one march with it? I played the oboe and I know that there's no way to hold the correct embouchure with a double reed and march with it at the same time. It also isn't a good pep band instrument.
Moot ponint? Yeah, probably, but the little details make the story come out and and the more "real to life it is..."
Its an interesting storyline and does well with it's episodic format...I would have liked to have Jeff say the words to Chrissy and not have them told by Mandi, though.
