I enjoyed the first installments of this series of books (The Honorable Highland, The Banished Highlander). I looked forward to the story of Jake and Skye. Some places in the story became garbled for me and I had to read it several times. I really enjoy reading time travel because your imagination can soar, and I like dragons. I guess what I am saying, using a dragon in this story was ridiculous for me. It didn't add anything to story and actually ruined it. Read the story and see if you find it so.
