The Good:
• Great for keeping stubble, set it on lowest setting and you can maintain a stubble look
• I like the turbo mode, in fact that’s all I use…it cuts quicker and cleaner
• Travel bag is a plus…nice if it had some pockets though
• Battery lasts a longgggg time
• Easy to clean, I prefer just using a brush…although the brush included is weak, I have a larger similar one I use to just get all the shavings off and then I put a couple of drops of oil on the blades
Other thoughts:
• My review is for close stubble trimming, didn’t use it for any other length besides 1mm.
• I hope the adjustment attachment doesn’t break…is plastic and cheap
• A USB charger would make much more sense
The Bottom Line:
I was on the hunt for a new beard trimmer…but for me I always go with the stubble look, so anywhere from 1mm to 2mm is the zone I stay in. I was using the i-Stubble for a couple years and it was great! However, I dropped it on the floor at some hotel and the mm adjustment stopped working… I bought another on Amazon and its not the same..I have no idea why but it won’t cut my hair close and its just awful now. Not sure what they changed but it wouldn’t work. So I went and bought the Panasonic ER-GB40-S…that was awful for stubble, it couldn’t do it at all. Then I came across the Remington and it is doing great so far. Recommend for the 1-2mm look.
