If I were to do it again though, I'd probably spring for the ones with multiple lenses. They're the same, but it'd be nice to have the flexibility I think. Anyway, they're super cheap so you can get as many pairs as you need and they're plenty strong enough to resist a lot of things that might fly at your eyes.
Two days after getting these, I had a massive bug splatter on them while going down a hill. Needless to say, I was very happy to have these on. I've also been saved from swarms of gnats and at least one wasp thanks to these.
These will fit every head you put them on. They are comfortable, and stay planted well on your face. They are not loose nor snug.
Would be ideal for shooters because of the wide shades. You only get 1 pair of eyes.. You don't want to risk it.
Also would be ideal for those that use watercraft, they will definately stay on and keep the wind and sun out of your eyes.
VERY durable. I could probably shoot a pellet at it with my 1000 fps airgun at 20 yards. I would never shoot at anyone with it, the only way I'd get hit in the eye would be from ricochet. (Much less fps)
Great purchase for multiple activities!
Four stars for the round, ring-shaped frame. Unless you have a Charlie Brown head, the frame will swing wide around your temples. If you wear ear muffs, they may not seal well around these glasses because they have to push the frame against the side of your head. The frame is comfortable and does not put much pressure on the bridge of the nose and behind the ears. But for my IMHO normal-shaped head, there is a gap at the temples wide enough for a .45 casing to fly through.
Three stars for the temple pieces. There is an open channel running along the inside of the temples, providing a conduit for sound to get inside any ear muffs you are wearing. Except for that flaw, the temples are fairly flexible and wrap behind your head to keep the glasses in place.
For the price you pay, you can't have it all but these come very close. Good for Airsofters on a budget, these glasses will get you through any game with little problem. A required piece of gear, a standard piece of gear, an affordable piece of gear.
Only con is that they do feel... "cheap." Only when you hold them, though. When they are being worn you won't notice the feel and the nose piece is very comfortable and will keep them on your face easily.
